Where to Sell Squidoo Lens?

Well technically its non-transferable as you don't own it. Read the TOS if
you don't believe me. You may possibly get someone to pay you for it, but
how would you advertise it, as none of the usual places (like Flippa) will
allow it?

Actually this isn't quite right. He does own the content. Ownership of the beneficial rights to a lens are transferable. People do buy and sell Squidoo lenses. There are some advertised for sale right here.

Squidoo has a mechanism available for transferring lenses from the seller's account to the buyer's.

There are also some lenses there listing "lenses for sale" and so on. All perfectly open and above board.

It's terribly precarious, of course, and the amounts of money people are willing to pay for them are typically terribly low, because not only is the income insecure but the whole lens itself is, too. If the rules suddenly change, they can be locked/removed in the night.

If you can get $100 for it, you can call me mistaken.

Here's the thing: steady and secure income-producing websites which you own and control yourself sometimes change hands for about 10-12 months' income. You're hoping to get 10 months' income here for the income-rights arising from a page on someone else's site, with all the risks and lack of security that that entails? It just isn't going to happen, Zach. Sorry.

It's not worth buying a "classified ad" or "webite for sale" listing here for one small-value lens. List it for sale in your sig-file and see what happens?

There are a number of places you can sell a lens. You can make a Squidoo sales lens and attract traffic. Check out groups where there are Squidoo buyers and sellers. List it in your signature here as Alexa suggested. Also there are some other marketing forums that have free classifieds where you can list lenses.

Why not advertise the lens for sale on the actual lens itself? Create a Paypal button and then insert the code into a blackbox module in your lens, so someone can click on it and purchase. Just be sure to collect their Squidoo username so you can transfer the lens once it's paid for. Also, be sure to set the quantity to 1 when you setup your Paypal button so multiple people don't pay you for the same lens.

And $220 is pretty steep for a lens that has made that much in the time frame you mentioned. I'd price it much lower or hang onto it for now, if I were you.

For me you spoilt that question by adding "fast and easy". What is it with so many members here who come asking us how to do almost everything the "fast and easy" way.

In translation that usually means "I'm too lazy to do a little research myself, so I want you to do it for me".

Sorry, when I said fast and easy, I meant the squidoo page, I am shifting away from affiliate marketing and I just want to wash my hands of the lens, yet I found found few places that are "lens market places" when I said "fast and easy" I simply meant I didn't want to have to put a ton of time in to selling it for $100....basically I could use the cash and I don't want the lens....hope it didn't come across in a rude kind of way...
