Whats the best software to create a ezine in? It needs to end up as .pdf...

I could really do with a drag and drop system to be honest :-0

If you have a newer version of Word you can simply save your work as a PDF. Open Office has something similar and it's free.

Usually, people are... why would you be an exception ?

This is how it works: no matter which software (word processor) you are going to use - first you need to find a "magazine" template.

Then arrange all your content into it... that's the part (formatting) you'd like to skip, I guess. When this is done - it's just a click on a button > Save as PDF

I have used Microsoft Publisher for that purpose. As far as layout goes, just flip through some magazines to get some layout ideas, create your text boxes, make picture placemat boxes and fill the text boxes with "Lorem Ipsum" text, then have text justified. Takes a little trial and error but once you get the hang of it, you own that ability to design any page.

        Best of luck, Eva

The best is Abobe InDesign. It's made exactly for creating magazines and is the industry standard.

It can be a little overwhelming to use, though, so it might be overkill for what you're wanting to do.
It is a great program, but it also has a fairly steep price tag

Try looking for catalog software. It should provide everything you are looking for. Unless you are hoping for a page flip book . You can find magazine templates on graphic river that are super easy to use. Best of luck

i think use a page flipbook software maybe a good solution, others can read the magazine with the page flip effect. So cool.

If you want to design a professional-looking document have a look at either Scribus or Inkscape. It may take a little time getting used to one of them but they're worth it. And they're both free. My personal choice goes to Scribus.

    Inkscape. Draw Freely.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

Whatever tool you find to turn your ideas into a finished product . . .

The most important and most difficult part of the graphic creation process is the actual design itself - not the tool.

Great design comes from graphic artists that understand how all the parts of design (images, typography, texture, spatial relationships, color and all the rest) work together to create something inspiring and compelling.

Tools are good but the real key to great design is the human conductor that brings all the components together into harmony.

The best to all of you,

      Steve

What conversion tool did you use if you don't mind disclosing?
