Im new to building landing pages and all. I built a review page and was wondering if you could give me some feedback www. mysolarpowertoday .info (take away the spaces).

I would like to see a good landing page though so if anyone was able to post theirs here so i can have a structure in my head that would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

  • You have to realize that landing pages are starting to become a bit out dated. Now a days people are not wanting to click more than they have to in order to get the answers and information they are looking for.

I would recommend that you don't worry about landing pages for your site, just make sure your home page information catches and draws your client in.

There are many examples of good landing pages.

The most important aspect is how you grab the readers attention instantly.

    Choose your words very carefully.

Really, you can add all the fancy graphics and colors and these may all help - but what you actually write is the key to success.

Looking at your landing page the first sentence does not inspire me whatsoever.

" Looking for a reliable product to help you make your own effective and efficient power? "

Firstly - I would suggest you don't state the obvious - that is " Looking For A Product"

If your traffic is targeted, then your ideal customer will be looking for a product.

You need to target the emotions of your potential customer.

    For example something like;

" FACT - Within 5 Years The Amount of Carbon Emitted by Every Individual in the United States will be 5 tonnes per Annum?

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint NOW and Do Your Bit to Protect Our World! "

    Get the gist?

I would also consider 1 product only - the one that converts the best - but of course others may have a different opinion of this.

Sorry - I forgot to add one thing.

The AIDA strategy is a marketing principle that has been around for quite sometime.

    A - Attention
    I - Interest
    D - Desire
    A - Action.

Research this a bit online and you will find some key principles for a landing page.

    K-Keep
    I-It
    S-Simple
    S-Stupid

This is my technique whenever I use a landing page. I would suggest an easy to read but informative. Also, Videos are a great tool to use. Some have switched to a video only landing page and an opt-in.
