How To Insert Custom Thank-you page?

I want to put in a thank-you page to come up after someone fills out the "contact form" or "request a quote" form on my page so that I can track how many people have filled in the forms. I have already created the thankyou page, how can I now get it to appear automatically after someone fills in the form?

Whatever autoresponder service you use should be offering a field where you just drop the link in and save it.

I am not using aweber or any auto responder, it is for a client. I am just using contact form 7 and the standard contact form in wordpress.

Someone is doing an adwords for the business and they want to to set up tracking to see how many enquirys they are getting

What happens for the visitor after clicking the contact form? If a page comes up maybe you could put in a redirect to the thank you page or just sub the thank you page for the one that's showing up now.

Another option is to set the whole thing up on an autoresponder. That's what most people do.

I would also go with an autoresponder, there it's easy to set up like you want to.
Otherwise maybe there is a script around for that?

A thank you page is a waste of virtual realestate. That thank you page, once you get it working the way you want should be a timed refresh page that after the reader has had time to read it, it will automatically redirect to some kind of money page or deliver the freebie you have promised.

The autoresponder is the best way to track but still have your thank you page be an auto refresh page.
