Buying income

Quick info on me:
I have a few websites that are moderately successful and that I make money from. This is good, and I plan to keep growing them and aggressively working on them.
Okay, now what I am looking for:
I have a small partnership with three other people, we unsuccessfully launched a big website a few years ago..bottom line our idea was too big and we didn't have the resources to complete the project correctly.
The one thing we have with this LLC is a good bit of money to get something started. Well, a good bit in the small sense, we have anywhere from ten to twenty thousand dollars to get something started. I keep telling them we should "buy ourselves some income" meaning buy a website that is already a bit established that has some income and that we can work on and turn into an even bigger return.
1. If I told you I had $7500 and I wanted to buy a website with some income, would you say that is possible?
The reason I ask is because it seems incredibly hard to wade through everything on flippa and find a real opportunity. So if you have any advice on where to look to buy websites that are already a bit successful I would appreciate that.
Again, not looking for a silver bullet here...just something that is generating a bit of income (maybe $300 to $600 a month) and is ripe to be worked on and expand. People buy websites everyday right? I just have found that getting the real story on good opportunities is hard, or everyone is always posting questionable info.
