Share on FB Timeline when clicking wordpress post?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to set something up and i am wondering if anyone could recommend the best way to do it.

Basically, I have a local coupon site with coupons from businesses in our local area. What I would like to have happen is when someone clicks into a coupon (which i believe my theme considers basically a wordpress post) I would like for it to post on their timeline that they have got that coupon or that they are browsing our coupon site....hopefully to cause a viral effect. Obviously they would have to connect via FB but i thought I could have them do that when they got to the site or when they tried to view the first coupon details they would be prompted to log in via fb.

Is there a plugin for this?

Anyone know how i could do that?

    There are paid content gate social plugs that do this. I have not seen a free one.

    I hope after you set this up that you test this to see if it actually helps your conversions.

    Because personally anytime I see a site that is asking me to login with my facebook account or has some sort of hoop that I have to jump through to see content using my facebook account or it wants to share my activity to my wall I immediately leave.

    And I am sure there are thousands of others who do the same. And I am betting that the number of people who are annoyed by such things will continue to grow

    That is why I would recommend that you test this strategy to make sure it improves your conversions.

    If it doesn't then drop it and find something else.
