Would you feel comfortable with promoting Zango?

Hi everyone,

Zango. It is spyware. It isnt spyware. Who knows.

My question is would you feel comfortable promoting it?

    Hi Dimension,

There were two key words in your post that would keep me from promoting it: "who knows".

Not knowing means you could be promoting something harmful to other people's computers. Is there something similar (and definitely not spyware) you could promote instead?

    All the best,
    Michael

Xango - type strategies have been on offer here on the WSO forum for years. It's not my thing, but what's with the sudden, urgent scrutiny?

    Hi Product Creator:

You could not have had a more perfect link for information about the dangers of the product. When one of the largest anti-virus outfits on the planet clearly state their position (and it doesn't end there) it is easy to see why there are red flags.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Let's see... A surfer with the zango toolbar installed surfs to my site where I advertise product A that I get a commission on.

Zango shows the surfer product B from one of their paid advertisers or even the same product A with another affiliate ID.

So product B owner and Zango get to use MY bandwidth to sell their product.

Nope. Would not promote Zango at all.
