hello from Costa Rica and my apology in advance if this is in the wrong place ..

have read several threads that refer to getting free or paid help from established WF members but can not find a "Help Available" thread on the foros ?

we are looking for resources to access as many freelance designers and coders as we can to help us get our brand new start up freelance job board going

will truly appreciate if you point me in the right direction

    Try contacting freelance designers and coders at fiverr.com and other freelance job sites like ODesk and ELance among others, to see if they'd be interested in signing up with your freelance job website to possibly get more projects. You can also promote your freelance job website by implementing PPC ad campaigns in Facebook or private ad campaigns in sites that are heavily trafficked by your target viewers (freelance designers and coders).

    When you upload an avatar photo.

    At the moment, what you've uploaded is a "profile photo", not an "avatar". It's visible in your profile only - not adjacent to your posts.

    You can use the same one as an avatar, too, if you wish to, but will need a slightly smaller version of it, for that. Avatars are 80 x 80 pixels, maximum. You'll find the avatar upload thing, if you go to "user CP" and then "edit options".
