Creating My Own Private Blog Network

Hey all, I may be late to the table about this topic, but I hope I can get some advice.

My "money sites" are traditional ecommerce dropship sites. I have three, in related niches. They all took a hit with Panda, but are still limping along. Sales from this period last year are down 70%, and most of my backlinks are gone. Keywords that I was on page 1 and 2 are now not even ranking anymore.

Then it occurred to me: I own over 200 domains that are sitting unused, why not create my own private network? (And to answer your question, I have so many because I had a period where I naively thought I was going to become a gazillionaire by creating adsense sites on all these domains, HA! So now they are just sitting in my godaddy account, waiting to expire).

I've done some preliminary research on here about setting up a network, I'm just inexperienced with all this. Since one of the biggest expenses -- registering the domains -- is done, isn't hosting the sites the next big expense? As far as content, I have content curation software that could help with that.

Anyone want to help a guy out and explain what my strategy should be? I've got the domains sitting there unused, may as well put them to use and hopefully get my retail sites profitable again.

Thanks in advance.
