I'm Looking For Webhosting. Any Suggestions?

Hi Gang,

I'm looking for webhosting since my current host is falling asleep at the switch. I'm looking at Vodahost. They seem pretty strong to me. Any Pros or Cons about Vodahost you want to share?

Also, any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for your time.

Take a look at Future Hosting.

I have been using them for 2 years and have been happy with their service and support.

The people at kioskDOTws are very supportive and receptive to IM. Also Rackspace, MediaTemple and 2AdvancedDOTnet.

You shoulden't ever go with a free host, its always either ads on your site or low site availability, so you have to balance budget and the intentions/agenda you want for your site. And as the old saying goes, you really do get what you pay for. Just make sure the webhost providor is accredited and respectable.

I use hostmonster, sister to bluehost. 24/7 support, unlimited bandwidth, domains, one click install scripts, yadda yadda yadda.

      They ROCK.

I have heard more than one person say that Godaddy.com has shut them down for some piddly complaint. They are very quick on the draw to shut you down, and then you are out of business whether you did anything or not.

For not much more than what Godaddy charges for one domain, I can host as many domains as I could ever need, with massive bandwidth, and phone or email support 24/7. I have no complaints with them and I recomend them. Maybe I should sign up for their affiliate program.

I disagree, I've used GoDaddy for 6 years, hosting multiple websites, and haven't had any major problems.

I'm all new to this but after doing some mayor research, hostgator came out on top. Again, this "advise" is from a newbie! Best of luck!

I'm on bluehost and (see my earlier thread) I experienced a huge wave of sales this week due to affiliate email marketing. My site stayed up and I'm amazed. I used about 40 gigs of bandwidth last week.

I've had a reseller account with hostgator for almost 2 years and have had no problems. They had a whiff of a security breach, but went into lockdown straight away and got it sorted. Great tech support (live chat).

    hey bob,

I think hostgator is the best deal with factors like : price, service, what you get etc... i pay $25/month for reseller hosting and it has paid for itself a million times over...
