Sending Snail Mail to Business Owner - Best Way?

Hi Warriors,

I tried searching and couldn't come up with much.

What is the best way to send a piece of physical mail to the higher up in marketing or the owner of a company?

I have a direct mail piece and sales letter that I'm trying to send out to local and national businesses.

Any input as far as what to put in the address lines, heading, etc. would be much appreciated.

Any other ideas are also welcome.

    You should ask this in the copywriting section, as you'll get some input there
    from people who have actually worked in direct mail, as opposed to 100% online.

      This has been discussed numerous times in the 'offline' section. I just did a forum search for 'direct mail' in thread titles, and there are 118 threads on the topic in the offline section alone. And like X mentioned, probably a bunch more in the copywriting section as well.

    @ Brandon, I think my question is more specific than direct mail, as there are many aspects to that broad search query. That's why I was asking this in general, as I couldn't find an answer to that via search.

    If anyone has any input or can direct me to a thread already containing this information, that would be much appreciated.

      Sending physical mail is still "offline" marketing though, so I think you'll get much better replies posting your thread in that section. Direct mail is discussed all the time over there. In the main forum, not so much.
