Promote yourself more successfully

One of the great challenges for independent professionals and small businesses, especially when starting out, is generating visibility.

One of the specific challenges, I have found, is knowing what to say about yourself and your operations and services when asked "so what do you do?"

I have personally struggled with this at times, and equally have found that when I get it right, results flow - which initially could be as simple yet important of getting more time to converse with the person asking the question of you.

By reading a FREE report written by Robert Middleton, I have been able to clearly articulate what I do; present direct targeted messages to clients that opens up further conversation; increased by success at gaining appointments with key decision makers - all of which has led to an increase in revenue.

      Thanks for the responses. At the time of my first post I was a bit tired. It was during the wee hours of the morning here in Germany. Now I´m fresh after sleeping a bit.

      I specialize in helping Independent Professionals be better marketers and attract more clients.

      The clients I work with are great at what they do professionally but struggle with the marketing part of their business. They want to know how to attract more clients with ease and without compromising their integrity. My ideal clients are also those who are committed to making a difference.

      My marketing approach is based on "The Contribution Factor" by Robert Middleton which is about marketing your services by making a difference. This differs from most marketing which is more about taking than giving. Those who use the Contribution Factor include thought leaders and others who have a unique contribution to make through their business services.
