Michelle Obama Gives Boost to Diet/Health and Dog Training Niches!

Somebody once told me that the best way to help yourself is to help others.

I've adopted this into my marketing strategy, and have recently begun filming "business marketing" videos that can help people in various niches promote their products and websites by "piggy-backing" on the popular news stories of the day.

Today there is a story circulating about Michelle Obama urging pet owners with obese and overweight dogs to help them eat right and exercise.

This is an incredible opportunity for the DIET, EXERCISE, HEALTH, and DOG TRAINING niches.

In my video this morning I brainstorm some ways that you can create your own publicity and get free advertising on radio, TV, and the Internet.

These are off the top of my head...I'm sure there are more...

DIET/EXERCISE NICHE

• Come up with 5 exercises pet owners can do with their dogs to keep both slim and trim.
  
• Create a "Calorie Counter" for dog food and snacks.
  
• Make a list of "10 Healthy Table Scraps."

DOG TRAINING NICHE

• Make a list of 5 training techniques to keep your pooch from getting puffy!
  
• Link health to behavior problems and show how a healthy pet is a well-behaved pet.
  
• Teach your dog to walk itself!

As for my own marketing efforts, I have definitely seen an increase in traffic to my website since I started filming these marketing strategy videos just a week ago.

I hope that people find these videos helpful. For marketing purposes, for publicity, for product creation, for email marketing...whatever! In the long run if I can help others grow their businesses I know that I will grow mine as well.
