Can my website make any money?

I a few months ago I put together a comic book website and it was a really fun project, for the first time I actually enjoyed creating content for a site.
The only problem is I haven't been promoting it too much but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Can something like this potentially make decent money if not any at all?

(I was hoping to generate an income via the amazon affiliate program)

Just need some insight because I'm not sure if it's wise to continue with it or move on

    Your site looks nice. Comic books and manga is a huge niche. If you keep on adding more contents, there's no doubt that you'll be getting more traffic to your site and it will eventually make money from amazon and adsense.

    I agree with Vincent, your site's pretty cool. I haven't tried doing marketing on comic book site but I guess the best way to get more profit is through social media, you need to increase your presence on social networking sites.

    Why not try it? Start to incorporate some Amazon affiliate links and see what happens. Nothing bad can come from it. Who knows, you might be surprised and make a few dollars within days!

    HI, love the name of the site.

    You don't need to tell people that you receive a small 5% commission. You want to come off as a professional. Develop a top ten comics of the week and include purchase links. Develop your own personal review top ten and include purchase links. This site can make money if you make it easy for the visitor to digest useful info and make a purchase.

    Go to other comic sites/forums and get your name out there without the appearance of spamming.

      good job mate, I a comic fan myself, the newsfeed is really good, thank a lot for review the Scott pilgrim comics. I suggest you to put the buy link of each comic in the below session on each page that you have just reviewed, so people with enough cash and just read your review will quickly buy it from amazon. The design is catchy and the atmosphere is cozy, keep up the good work.

        You can have the best design in the world, and promote the life out it, but unless you can find a way to monetize what you're doing then..why bother.

        It might be your 'passion', but unless you can earn an income from it, forget it and move on to something else where you can make money.

    First I will answer your question. Yes this is a huge niche and not many marketers have attacked it.

    I would suggest using a link cloaking plugin for your affiliate links (right hand side of your site). I use "Affiliate Link Cloaking" you can find it in your wp panel.I would set upa google alert for any new news in this niche and be the first to blog about it. Join forums, find fellow tweeters, fanpages/groups and make sure you get on pinterest.

    Of course it can, have you tried Amazon affiliate marketing, search comics product that sell and make a product review for that. You should cloak the affiliate link and you are good to go. The commission is good if you make many sales in one month. Monetizing that awesome website might lead you to be a professional blogger. Keep the passion burning and search advice from the expert.

    I would say create a "newsletter" or "special report" for your site visitors to opt into in order to receive. Concentrate then on building the list of your visitors and sending them content they will be interested in. Given some time to establish a relationship with the list members , then begin to market appropriate commissionable material to your list.

    Good looking site. Other than some amazon, adsense links, I'd suggest you put in some gaming review videos and promote games to the crowd too as most comics fans love gaming. Video walkthrough for some recent games review would do good too I bet. If you are into gaming too, you can even create a game/comics ebook or tutorials for easy bucks as long as you get more traffic.

    Yes it certainly has potential, stuff that I would do would be to remove the crappy adsense links for starters the banner I am seeing has no relevance to your site and is wasting a whole lot of space.

    I'd make the site a bit more easier to navigate.

    I'd then look at other affiliate sources than just Amazon - I see these really nice comic books collectable busts and such like at really high prices, might be worth a look around.

    Any website is a potential money making machine so long as the webmaster knows what he is doing. There are lots of ways to monetize a site, niche is not a barrier, the only thing is, some niches might just be more profitable than others.

    Your site is GREAT!... You now need to think hard and long, come up with a product you can sell. No affiliate programs, I mean something you can make and ship to the buyer. If you come up with that you will make bank since you enjoy creating the site. Don't give up, sit under a tall tree somewhere and think long and hard... You will find it!! Great site!
