He walks you through all of this... You bought solo ads and used what email? Where did you direct them? What day are you on?

1st you don't need a website he gets to that later. But it depends on what are you promoting? Are you an affiliate of Dot Com Secrets X? Because he has a squeeze page set up and I all you have to do is follow his marketing steps and drive traffic.

Also you should the Facebook Group.

Hi Daniel. How are you? Myself? I'm fine. Thank you so much for asking...

But anyway..Just a little advice. Go ahead and try to find your own unique thing/technique.

I know it goes against what most people believe in here that say "don't reinvent the wheel". But I believe in 2013 people are going to think differently. It is almost impossible to make any money on the net just with help of Russell Brunson. Just think about it for a second, you're sharing his system with thousands of other people just like you, so what are the chances that out of all of them you're the one who's gonna succeed?

So I suggest to forget about building a list for a while (it ain't that hard anyway). And try to create something that no one does yet. There are still some ideas out there...

Ready to give up after just a few weeks Daniel? Really? Seriously? Wow!

If this is really the case, I think you need a reality check.

"Where there's smoke, there must be fire eh?" Watch what you're saying lest you ignite my passion into words.

Look mate, if you're thinking it's easy to make money in this business from the very get go, well I hate to disappoint you but you're going to need to treat an online business just like you would an off line brick and mortar business.

The Internet you see is nothing but a communication channel. A method of communication to help bridge the gap between linking up your direct business benefits to the pain and frustration experienced by your target market.

Don't for second think you're going to hit the ground running instantly turning a profit straightaway. If you think like this, you're setting yourself up for failure right from the start.

There are no push button magical solutions to earning money online, just as there are no magic push solutions to instantly start making money offline.

Yes sure, if you pull your finger out of your ass you might hit on something which almost immediately takes off but flailing around in a state of ignorance or not having the business knowledge you need to make a flying start is going to severely hold you back at the beginning.

So it's up to you what you want to do.

If your pain of going without money is strong enough, this might inspire within you the action necessary to get your hands on and your mind around the knowledge you need to get yourself ahead.

If this personal pain point isn't yet strong enough to garner from you the right kind of attitude you need to run a business, well there's little hope for you.

If you're going into this with the attitude of virtually giving up before you've even started, how are you going to survive in the long term?

If obstacles are presented in your path, as they inevitably will, if hurdles are going to launch themselves at you, as they will do and all you want to do is to bury your head in the sand and give up immediately, you might just as well walk away right now.

It's all very well and good wanting to make money online but if you don't know yourself, which is clearly the case here, the question is...

Have you honestly got what it takes?

No offense but it might be better for you to simply go get a job. Only not everyone is cut out for self employment.

It requires discipline, a strong mind, determination to overcome obstacles and admittedly not everyone is cut out for all the challenges which naturally come with running your own business.

So do you still want to give up or are you actually going to grab life by the balls, pull your finger out of your ass and be prepared to do something about it?

        Well?...

        Smoking hot,

If you bought the course, it should have contained all the information to help you with the sales funnel, right? Otherwise there are some missing parts in the course unfortunately...

You need to know what to offer, you need to know how to setup the whole sales funnel, how to bring the traffic, where to get it, etc. There's ton of info in here for free. Search for squeeze pages, sales pages, OTO...

Don't give up - you don't have all the information yet.

slow down mate, remember the sales funnel, traffic > lead > product. It is good that you have solo ads to build the list from your squeeze page. but after this, you don't just wait until someone opt in your list, evaluate the solo ads, try $5 a day, and see how much traffic your get, and how is the bounce rate, and how many people opt in your list. after you got around 50 or 100 list, you can write a product review and send it to them with auto responder. I think it is a common sense.

Yes, love, solo ads. Also Safelist sites he has a list for both. Day 9 and 10 goes over that. I always re-watch the clips and get something new out of it. I suggest re-watching it.

Also it okay to feel like giving up especially when doing something new. Just don't you will miss out.

Your question is completely natural. Almost all the newbies enter the IM world with preconceptions formed by advertising, hype, hearsay and wishful thinking.

TRUE - you CAN make a job-replacing career online. You can even make a fortune.
FALSE - you can NOT achieve that "overnight" or without significant effort and knowledge.

This said, you can get off to a good start - or you can start off the wrong foot. Coming to Warrior Forum a mere 2 weeks after you started is a great start.

Dedicate the first few weeks to learning the basics. Your goal should be to understand the LOGIC of online business. ANY business, actually.

    In broad strokes:

    1. Find something to sell which you like very much and believe in, which has a big and hungry audience, which addresses this audience's needs, and which is profitable enough for you to warrant your effort.

    2. Find out exactly who the target demographic is, where they hang out and how to get in front of them.

    3. Choose your initial role: are you simply going to deliver the product owner's message to potential clients - at your expense? Or are you ALSO going to be building your OWN future business? If you choose the first option, you don't really need a website (although it's always a good idea to have one), whereas in the second case a website is a must. In the first case you can bypass list-building, in the second case you need to offer something to people in exchange for which they will sign up to your list and then go on to buy the selected product.

    4. Do your budget and calculations. Factor in the time and expense of finding the traffic (multiply that cost by 2 or 3, to allow for slip-ups), make educated estimates regarding your potential conversion rates (always make those as small as possible in the beginning), and then see what your earnings MAY be.

    5. TEST your assumptions using minimum costs (if you're buying traffic, say, through Solo Ads or ad networks) - and also test if you're doing "free" traffic generation. You test by monitoring traffic (visits to your offer) versus conversions (i.e. signups or purchases). Use tracking software to help you with that as well as any other statistic and monitoring programs you can get your hands on. I track with Hypertracker, aWeber, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, AWStats and Webalizer.

    6. Fine-tune your budget and test again. If you're going the paid route, then after you've purchased, say, 100 clicks and got 2 signups (MOST solo ads only allow you to mail out freebies, and this already implies that you're list-building AND have a website of your own!), then clearly you need to improve your swipe and subject as well as your squeeze page. At that point, you may find you paid, say, $50 for the Solo and got those 2 leads at a cost of $25 each! Your target should be more like $1 per lead. $2 per lead is almost unacceptable, while BELOW $1 is ideal. With experience you'll learn how to get qualified leads for pennies. If you're following the "free" route, you may find that you've invested, say, 80 hours in your prep and got those same 2 leads from on-site forms or whatever, after the site got, say, 100 visits. Again, you need to then decide whether your pitch is optimal. Make corrections to your budget as well as to your pages/ads/texts/mail swipes and run your test again.

    7. Once you have a budget which matches reality AND it shows you that you can be profitable - then scale up. If you're able to do the above steps diligently, you can be the 1 in a 1000 newbies who actually hit the ground running.

    Hope this helps

The problem with dot com secrets x is that it has become saturated. The only person who made any real money from it was Russell himself. Many solo ad sellers won't even accept that program or empower network type things now.
Your best bet is to start from scratch & learn how all this works.

        Hey Daniel,

It's all a big learning curve. No one enters a new career knowing what to do, and with IM it's very easy to go into information overload and get nowhere.

Stop for a moment and really think about what you are trying to do here, and don't just think "Make Money Online" either!

What's the 1st thing you are trying to put into place? Learn that, put it into action, and then move onto the next step.

From the way you are talking it sounds like you're not doing the above. There's a few pieces of the puzzle missing, either because you haven't finished the course you have bought or you are still learning what it contains while trying to put ALL OF IT into practice.

Don't over complicate things. Keep it simple and take it one step at a time.

PM me if you need any help with Aweber buddy!

        Above all don't give up!

Note that dotcomsecrets is being spammed to death by loads of affiliates. I still get them daily... there was a time when I received 7 a day. Perhaps you should look into PPC marketing, but that is a bit expensive..

Autoresponder does not make you the money but targeted and active list do.

This list too ain't given out for free, you have to work hard to get people to your list through different forms of traffic source like PPC, SEO, social networking, forums, blogging and more.

Get a website because right now it seems like you have only an engine (autoresponder) and no body (website).

The great thing is you have started building your list. This is a huge part in becoming successful online.

As far as traffic if you have the money solo ads are great - but I would also venture into free methods as well like SEO, fourms, Social media.

Sometimes these methods can be just as effective.

Daniel, you've come to the right place to try and get some help. Mark Andrews pretty much has it down. You can go to a slew of other places to find out how to set that up. You can easily do a google search as well as a youtube search. That might be better, because you could visually see what to do. You can also follow along with what they are doing.

Another way is to join a FB group that is dedicated to IM, most of them would have their video series on various things.

Daniel, it's only been 2 weeks and your at your wits end? You need to keep on truckin. It might suck at first, but it will pay off should you have a good product.

    Good luck
