How To Move Past Adsense?

I got this website ranking well for a bunch of competitive keywords. However, adsense is really messing me up, it doesn't seem that worthy to me any more considering a lot of traffic passes by, I only harvest a few clicks, and from those clicks (lately) my revenue for the clicks has gone down.

I want to move my websites pass adsense, what do you recommend.

I think you will find many members here will recommend affiliate marketing as a "step up" from deriving revenue via AdSense. It is important for anyone responding to this post to understand the goal of your website to determine how to "move past" AdSense to something else.

If your site is solely developed for the purpose of advertising revenue, you must determine other forms of advertising. One of the more popular forms of ad revenue discussed on Warrior Forum is selling your own advertising. The tactics, such as which marketplaces to use for promoting your site, might be a good area for you to explore.

the "rule of thumb" we have been taught is if you don't have at least 1000 unique visitors per day, then adsense is not going to payoff

as suggested, we went with direct selling our adspace so at least we know where we are

3 Words. Build A List. This is the most important thing you can do for your long term success.

If you really want to move on, then try out affiliate marketing. If you aren't to keen on selling products off of Clickbank, than maybe start off with Amazon. With traffic, Amazon can convert well. Even the the rate is just 4% to 6% - that can be a lot if you sell hundreds of products.
