Camtasia and MP4 intro - How to combine them?

Hello!

I've had a great video intro created on Fiverr for one of my camtasia video.

Unfortunately it is in MP4 format and I don't know how to insert it into my camtasia video.

Would be grateful for some help on the matter.

Thanks

    Piece of cake!

Open the Camtasia project in Camtasia. Import the .mp4 file (File -> Import media). Drag it to the timeline. Edit as needed. Produce the Camtasia project in the desired output format.

This is what I was about to say...should be drag and drop...no?

        • Open up Camtasia then open up your Camtasia video and place it on the timeline
        • Import the MP4 from fiverr into Camtasia (drag and drop)
        • Place the MP4 on the timeline, just before your video
        • The MP4 will automatically resize to fit your video
        • Optional (you can even add a fade transition between the MP4 and your video)
        • MP4's don't work on version 6, so you need 7 or 8 to pull this off
        • Output to your desired format

I have tried this and it doesn't work? When I press "play" in camtasia the intro doesn't play at all. The file doesn't appear in the "preview window". What could be causing the problem?

        Yeah, what StevenJones said.

Also, if you haven't shut down Camtasia recently, do that and then re-open the program.

Thanks very much. Shutting down Camtasia and re-opening it did the trick!

Open a new project and copy both files into the library. Then drag to the timeline. Edit. Render and you are done.

    Open Camtasia.
Import the file and drag and drop to the timeline of your project. After you have successfully dragged it, it will show the frames for all actions. This is where you can delete any frame if you want to remove some part from the video or you can also add a frame.
Produce the output in the desired format.
If you are not easy with MP4 format then there are many programs available to change the format such as aTube Catcher.
Please ask if you have any problem.
