Place mobile phone number in your website, is it good?

Dear all.

I would like to start this thread to introduce about my business and also the problem i have.

I'm a export trader/broker. My main commodity is hadrwood charcoal. Someday, i get inquiry about my product. After a whole of negotiating, he ask my phone number. I think, it is no problem to give him my telephone number. But, what I've concerned is, My english listening skill is not as good as my writing skill. So, what should i do, tell him that I prefer to communicate throuh SMS rather than call?

Also, I want to ask and hear your point of view. Is it good to place your mobile number in website?

    Explain what you have just explained here.

    If I was to place any mobile number on my website it would be a secondary phone / sim for business only.

    :I have a ecommerce website that sells custom golf clubs, and we have made many sales because we have answered the phone. Customers have actually said to us that they have called several of our competitors and we were the only ones to answer the phone.

    As for your english. I think if you just mention in your email correspondence that your english might not be that good, people will understand, and the more you talk with people the better your english will get.

    It's ok so long as you have a seperate phone for your business. A lot use skype for business purposes
