ebook vs video tutorial affiliate link question

Hi,

I'm in a dilemma as to whether create an ebook or a video tutorial. The main issue is the use of affiliate links.

Do i risk losing money in a video since I will have to tell them to click on a link?

There are some link cloakers on google that can make it look like your not sending them to a aff link. (If thats what your asking). Me personally i prefer video tutorials so you can see first hand what the person is doing. You can offer both tho. If you gave your vistors a choice they can choose what fits them best and probley be more likely to convert. Hope this help

No, what I'm saying is that in case of a video, when you are asking a person to go to a particular website, they are likely to type the url themselves. Where as in a book, they are more likely to directly click since the link is there.

but as you say, video is first hand. And that's why i'm confused.

okay i kno what ur saying now. Best thing i can suggest is register a website url that is somewhat related to the product (ex. yourproductxxx .com or getrichyourproduct .com) and redirect them to your aff link. or if your making the site yourself just put a button at the bottom of the video that says buy now. and at the end of the video tell them to click the buy now. or just use adf.ly whichever lol.

Its entirely up to you. I prefer writing up eBook training modules in a "lecture-notes format" as I find that is the easiest way for students to grasp the concepts.
I don't believe that you will lose leads when placing your affiliate links in your video descriptions.

I prefer eBooks due to the hundreds of distribution channels and viral effect possibilities.
