Hi,

I have just finished my e-book. Would love some advice on the best techniques and methods to squeeze as much as i can out of it. I'm looking for -

1. Some great resources for turning this into a pdf / kindle kind of e-book.
2. Different ways to market it.
3. Different distribution channels
3. Any other advice from people who have their own ebooks out there in the market.

Cheers.

The best ways to sell ebooks are
Post your offer on Clickbank so that some good affiliate marketers can pick it.
    List it on Amazon.
Try to make a duplicate copy of your ebook with same ideas but different words and try selling it on your own site.
Register a domain name, design a site, write sales page, SEO it and start selling it.
If you need any advice in selling your site on your own then please feel free to contact me.

Can't I sell the same ebook from my website and from Amazon?

Yes, you can sell on your website or even Amazon.
You will not get the best results:
        1. Your website might not have enough traffic to make good sales
        2. There are millions of ebooks in Amazon. Quite impossible to start out among them unless you are a reputed author.

Think deeper about this Internet Business.
Sell as much as possible in the shortest time frame.
Use the profits to start your next project.

If you consider your e-book anything of value, I would stop thinking about kindle and put a good price tag on it. The first step would be to get your own website going with a sales pitch and an automated buying process. Then, just market the sales page.

No harm at all. I just consider kindle more of a small guide type e-book community.

You created your ebook, but you just started.

    1. You should create and upsell to that ebook. Possibly a video or audio version. Maybe worksheets to make what ever your ebook is teaching or explaining easier to handle.

    2. You can come up with bonuses to increase the value of the ebook.

    3. Now, you can create a downsell product. Maybe remove some of the info from the ebook for a condensed version or remove the bonuses that are the perfect companion to your ebook.

    4. Create a small report on the same subject as your ebook that may give some extra tips. They could be 5 things not to do. Create a squeeze page to give your free report away. Naturally you advertise your ebook in the free report.

    5. Install an affiliate program so other people can sell your ebook for you.

    6. Start building your affiliate army. If you have a list, start doing adswaps giving away your free report. If you don't have a list, contact people who do and give them 100% of the profit on the ebook but you make your money on the downsell and the upsell. Give the jv partner 50% commission on the downsell.

You still need the free report to at least start a sales funnel. After you get this ebook selling, you need to create a higher ticket product for the next step down your sales funnel.

You keep creating higher and higher priced products that your buyers of your ebook will want. You keep creating complete product funnels all the way down your sales funnel.

The important part is that you have taken the first step, which has removed all the mysteries about creating a product. It will get easier and easier as you create the other pieces that you need.

    Wishing you much success,
    Steve Yakim

Put it on the Kindle for sure. Also, if you haven't already, start marketing and building your brand. Many times, THAT is what makes the difference between making a lot of money versus very little.

I have done quite well with selling my ebook on Amazon. There are millions of searches on the website every month for all types of ebooks. And it is completely automated. So you can drop your ebook in there and let amazon do the work for you.

Also, I have also done well with putting my ebook on Clickbank and letting affiliates sell it for me.

But just adding the ebook to Clickbank won't always do the trick. You have to go to the big blogs in your niche and sell your product to them. Let them know about your ebook and try to get them to become an affiliate.

You have some work ahead of you, but should have great results if done correctly. Good luck!
