Do you ever do backend offers on Ebay auctions/sales?

Hey Warriors,

I've got a quick question. I'm starting to sell a physical product on Ebay. But I also have a downloadable product that goes very well with it, but of course, you can't sell downloads on Ebay so it is not offered.

Would it be ok, or have you ever, contacted winning buyers on Ebay and made a limited time offer on a backend product after the Ebay sale is completed? I'd like to give them a limited time offer on the downloads for a low price.

Good, bad?

I use to back in the 90's, but ebay threatened to kick me out. They would not even allow me to put my web site's name on my images. It is one mean company. Which is why we do not use em any more. Except on a rare occasion. OK so my advice is to steer clear and use another company. For example, craigs list is much better to work on. Digital downloads should be on your site and a physical product for sale on CL.

      Hi Dayne,

Absolutely! It's a great strategy that most eBay sellers do NOT take advantage of, unfortunately.

I discovered a way to automate the building of an email list from your eBay customers so you can sell to them over and over again and I use it when selling several of my eBay products - especially in my main niche on eBay (vintage Hot Wheels cars) as well as some make money niches.

This way you can build a list of all those eBay buyers!

I'll send you a PM with the details - it is a very powerful strategy!

I make several $1000s a month (passive income) on Udemy and here's how YOU can, too...

I would love to hear about your method too if it is not too much trouble?

I offer a downloadable product, small low value item, or a chance to enter to win a valuable item if they opt in to my list.

I've bought eBay businesses whereas I took control of the account and access their past PayPal transactions so that I would be able to contact their past buyers which is sometimes a list of 100,000 people or more, simply so I could sell physical and intangible products and services to the list.

I thought you couldn't sell downloadable products on ebay?

You can't. My offers are presented after a buyer has made a purchase of a physical item and has received it in the mail.
