Which niche would YOU choose?

Hi Warriors, I am just about to launch a service and promote it by contacting people via their websites.

I'm hoping for a quick suggestion of who you would target?

I am looking for people who are

1. Involved in a fair amount of email correespondance
2. Would desire to look professional
and
3. Are not already design or tech savvy.

Thanks in advance : )

Paul

What service are you launching? The selection of niche should depend on the subjects that have interested you most.

The selection of niche should depend on...

      1. Ease of access to buyers
      2. Ease of access to sellers (unless you are creating a product yourself)
      3. Profitability (size of niche, wholesale cost of product, price points, scalability)

      THAT IS IT!

Niche selection should have nothing (or very little) to do with what you are interested in.

      Thanks for the replies

The service is selling professional personalized digital images for people to use as email signatures.

The process is the same for any buyer, so niche is just dependent on who is most likely to buy.

I was thinking IM, and also maybe people who promote a personal service via the email, not sure who though.

      any ideas? : )

Target people with a low post count who became members within the last couple months.

The ones with low post counts would be good, because they are naive to the goings on here and will be easy to convert.

Also, those who have no "thanked" are a good indication that they are not providing any value to the community, only trying to mine it for ideas. Those are the ones who I believe would fit your description of "Would desire to look professional"

Other than that I'm all tapped out for ideas

Thanks for the advice, there appears to be no thank button anymore, dunno if this is because I'm a noob

      What?!

      --

To the OP, you can target email marketers, bloggers, business owners. Anyone who has a newsletter or uses an auto responder would be a good fit for you. Even just people that use their email for normal correspondence and want to look more professional (lawyers, etc).

You could put up an ad here on the warrior forum and offer your service (warriors for hire, warrior forum classified ads, etc).

Make a few tests to see how your service can increase/affect email open rates, conversions, trust, etc. You have to state some benefits and be able to support them with evidence.

It sounds like any website owner with the criteria you are looking for would be targeted rather than targeting one niche.

Just reading your criteria, it sounds like a pretty broad market. Almost any website owner or online business.
