Do you expect to see a certain amount of words depending on the price?

I'm slowly writing my first book to sell on my site and I'm wondering what price I should use.

I could write a long book, but I want it to be short on purpose because I want people to focus on one special technique instead of many.

It means the book will only be about 10,000 words.

I know it will provide huge value compared to a book that is longer, but I'm unsure how to price it.

I want to make at least a little money from it and it would be nice to test PPC, but for that to happen I would prefer the price to be $15-20.

At the moment I'm thinking $10, but I still don't know how people will react to that if it's only 10,000 words long.

So I guess my question is: if you bought a product that was $10-20 and found it valuable would you be annoyed that it was only 10,000 words long?

You've already decided you're offering "huge value" so you should have the confidence to price it accordingly.

$10 is small fry in exchange for 10,000 words so I don't believe for one minute you're going to get a bad reaction . . . if your product is good.

It's better to have a concise product offering valuable information that is to the point, than a "padded-out" product that dilutes the strength of the message.

    Good luck.

      Thanks!

I'll test in between $10 and $20 to see what one is best.

Focus on what matters: the RESULT that the content
of your product helps your readers to achieve.

Then you and your readers will appreciate the VALUE
        that you deliver.

The number of pages is a minor factor in the grand
        scheme of things.

Also page numbers are a feature of your product rather
than a benefit of your product. People are more likely to
        buy based on benefits.

Focus on making it as easy as possible for your readers
to get the results they want in the quickest and easiest
        ways possible.

        Dedicated to mutual success,
