Article Syndication Marketing in non-IM niches

I'm just getting started in a new-to-me niche, and want to shake things up a bit. So I'm going to dip my toes in the article syndication model, and I have a question for the experts!

Do you have an article 'formula' that increases the odds of syndication?

For instance, do you use bullets, subheads, tell a story, etc.?

I'm aiming for 1,000 - 1,200 words, with a 'seamless' resource box (as indicated in other posts by experts on here).

Is there anything else I can do to attract ezine publishers?

Thanks!

This might be a sort of starting-point? http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post3188316

I don't think there's any "overall right and wrong" about things like this. Sometimes I do; sometimes I don't. I don't think it's hugely important, either way. (I suspect I use those a little less often than "most article writers", if anything). I don't think you should feel "obliged to break up the text to make it more readable", at all. The people you most want to attract, who are most likely to become the best future customers, are perhaps the ones to whom that matters least?

Just "approach them in a good way", sending them an article, I think? In general. There are some suggestions here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7475055

There's always the "Directory of Ezines". And possibly the resources mentioned here may also help, for "finding ezines": http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7833719

And of course there are plenty of other syndication opportunities, apart from ezines.

And good luck - "dream big"!

Just to clarify, do you mean places like blog posts and magazines?

And thank you Alexa - I thought I had already read all your posts but must not have seen the ones you referenced here!

Yes, exactly - blogs, newsletters that aren't "ezines" (whatever they are!), other websites, magazines, even newspapers ...
