Here's an old strategy I used couple years ago and it still works today! Try it! Always Works! I just test it myself an hour ago and still works like a charm!

Facts:
1. Twitter allows you to create a profile (name, bio, location, website url).
2. Your profile is visible to everyone
3. You can follow other people by clicking the "follow" button
4. Most people receive email notification when someone new follows them
5. When they open their email they will see your profile (including your links)
6. Most people want to know who's following them so they check out your profile

You can put whatever you want in your profile. You can put an ad message with URL.

How To Make Money:
1. Find CPA offers.
2. Find those that pay per lead such as (email submit, zip only, or short form).
You can find such offers on peerfly or maxbounty.
Find email submit leads that pay $1.70 to $3. That means when someone fills out their email you get paid!
3. Create a landing page (Get a big banner (CPA offer) and put it in the middle of a blank page which can be any color).
4. Create twitter account related to your offer
5. In the twitter profile write a short ad message and link to your offer
6. Use twitter search to find people who are talking about your offer.
7. Follow those people

What I did an hour ago:
1. Found email submit offer for an IPAD. It pays $1.80 per email submit.
2. I took my affiliate code (large banner) and put it on a black page background.
3. I created a new twitter account with "ipad" in my username.
4. I created a profile "ONLY TODAY! Test and Keep This New Ipad! (my landing page url)" and put ipad as profile pics.
5. Then I used twitter search and searched for most recent tweets "I want ipad" and "I need an ipad".
6. I followed 193 people who wanted an ipad.

I made $12.60 within half an hour! So this method still works! Why? You are targeting people who want what you have.

So you can find offers and do it this way. All you do is follow people. That's it!

You can do this manually.. or you can also automate it. There are bots and software that let you auto follow people by what they tweet.

*Try not to use short URLs it will look like spam. If you gonna use a software don't follow 100 people in 1 minute...twitter doesn't like that.

So have fun and make some money!

I'm not saying that this method doesn't work but I think it would take too much time and would probably not have enough results to make it a full time method. Besides, you don't want to be known as a spammer. This isn't the black hat forums....

I don`t want to hurt your feelings but four years ago i had numerous accounts on Twitter doing the type of offer you are doing it did make and collect $72 from one account and another was earning me over $350 but i lost the account and my money because it was against the CPA`S terms and conditions.

And it was not only CPA i was promoting!

All my accounts were suspended, eventually they will find out and either suspend your account or pull the spammy messages.

But if you can get away with it good luck

Was that because the offer didn't accept social traffic? Is this method OK as long as the offer allows social traffic?

Sounds simple enough. Once it's done several times,
I'm sure it won't be as time consuming as it may
seem. Of course, the main thing I would focus
on is choosing a program that has a higher payout
than a buck or 2 in order to make it worth my while.
I read somewhere that Hootsuite will automate the
process for you.

I forgot to mention.. you can also get followers this way too. I have 28 followers so far from the 193 I followed. You can post tweets or direct message them with CPA offers.

Sounds decent.

Would this only work for very popular offers like an iPad? As people don't put things like "i want a starbucks giftcard" do they?

When you searched twitter, did only 193 people want an iPad or is that only how many you followed?

There were many more.. I only followed the first 193 and stopped to see results. It works with many things but hot stuff converts better... I used to sell clickbank products this way too. for example.. I'd take guitar lessons offer and follow people who tweeted "I want to learn to play guitar" or "I wish I could play guitar". I'd create a landing page and collect emails. Then send them other guitar offers..even amazon links. You can do many things.

interesting, so we are simply offering people a lead of something that they actually want in twitter. this method is kind of grey hat I guess, making a twitter account just to gamble that our follower will see our ads and then submit a cpa offer. I will share this to my friend who is new to IM if you don't mind, I will ask them to try it, and see whether it actually work or not.

You'll find many email submit offers that allow social media traffic..actually they don't even care as long as they get leads. If you go through twitter you'll see that many companies and marketers are using twitter profile to promote their products and some use this strategy (auto follow people based on tweets or certain keywords in your profile).

Just be aware that often the "accept social media" type filters that CPA Companies allow you to apply to search for offers generally mean paid advertising on social media platforms, not direct linking from these platforms.

That said this method is not direct linking as such as you are using Twitter to direct traffic to a money site of sorts, however if you then tweet follow up offers to your followers and use direct links in these tweets you are unlikely to receive any credit for any leads for the reasons outlined above.

I would advise running this method by your Affiliate Manager if you are a little unsure.

Good idea! This is a good way to make money, good for noobs and for experienced people. Maybe you wont make alot but if you want easy money thats the way to go.

I think I am going to try this method to make money but I am not sure if to do it because maybe I will get banned from twitter or the cpa company so...

Just tried this out with Amazon. Followed about 60 users last night that were talking about making a purchase on Amazon. About 7 of them clicked the link. Since the cookie lasts 24 hours, I will wait and see if any purchases are made today.
