New, determined, and hungry for any and all Info

Hey,

I'm new here, I saw this forum a few times during research for other projects; however, I finally decided to make an account and pay so that I could get involved with this community because it seems to have a handful of rare, like-minded individuals.

What I am Looking For: I am looking for raw information if possible as well as a potential mentor. I am not down for anything that isn't formulated or logical. I am very interested in creating friendships with people who are also interested in creating success and win/win situations.

I started my first business at 16, I say business, but in reality it was just running DJ events and doing basic product management and marketing. Not much competition made marketing a breeze. Unfortunately, I learned very quickly that: people will copy you if its good, never trust government, and that you have to be VERY picky on who you work with.

I want to learn how to create a solid blog, I got the absolute marketing basics down, but when it comes to what resources to use, automation systems, and hosts... I am lost.

I am interested in peoples experiences with MLM's and other legalized pyramid schemes like Primearica, I personally like the MLM structure because it allows for better distribution of profits to work if done correctly; but thats a debate I dont want to start. To each their own, and power to you for what ever you choose and do that works.

So, any takers on mentoring the young hot headed kid?

My name is Chris Kruger, Im 20, I have a lot of work to do on understanding everything there is to know about Internet Marketing before I launch my next company.

I am incredibly loyal and although it can take time for me to warm up to you, I am completely honest with you on where you stand with me at all times.

I have done about an hours worth of skimming/reading so far and believe this section to be the most appropriate for my posting, if I have made any errors thus far, please do inform me. I want to become an active member of this community and help others as much as possible.

My Goal is simple, I will be proud of the world that I bring my child into.

I study Accounting and specialize in building effective revenue structures for almost any business model. So far I have figured away to spin a dollar out of anything, but I am almost certain if I say I can do it for anything, someone will most definitely prove me wrong haha

P.S. If you are disloyal or dishonest, do not waste your nor my time by talking to me-- I will figure it out, and I will cease to have any involvement with you whatsoever.

Thank you in advance to whom ever branches out and replies to this olive branch.

    Hi Chris

Welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of raw information here - the War Room is well worth the small investment in that respect.

As far as setting a blog up is concerned, there are people who will do it for your for free with a hosting account and there are Warriors here (in the Warrior for Hire section) who will do it for a small free. Alternatively, just go to YouTube and type in 'how to install Wordpress'.

Mentoring is another matter. The best mentors here will not try to pitch you in their replies. Firstly, they don't need to and secondly, it is not considered good form here.

    Cheers,

    Will

The pitfall for most Internet marketers is simply Information Overload.

My advice: seek a mentor for a particular niche: PPC, SEO, affiliate marketing, product creation, lst building, email marketing, etc.. I can go on forever...
    You get what I meant..

Just focus on one niche. Work till you see results.
All Methods work but not all one can make it.

You need to do your own assessments

Last but not least, please manage your expectation.
There are tons of people proclaiming the Internet dreams..
It is not as easy as you thought of..
    But certainly achievable..

    All the best!!!

This section is the busyiest but don't neglect the subforums... There is a lot of information on the forums scattered amongst the many threads posted, it just sucks that you have to find it all. There is a thread stickyed at the top of this forum about All-in-One threads, you should start there. Then find warriors which you like how they post, I have my little mental list and see the sorts of information they post.

I second khooster1 opinion. Information Overload can KILL.. just joking.. I think it is best for you to pick one method that you are comfortable with and then seek a mentor who has use the very same method to guide you along. There no magic bullet in achieving your goal. It is PURE HARD WORK.

Good Luck and Let's Go For It Together!

I agree! Dont fall for the info overload! It's so easily done, but you will find yourself skipping from one thing to another and not getting anywhere.

Making money online is not as easy as many make it out to be. Treat this like a REAL business and you're already ahead of many new starters.

Keep it simple too! Don't over complicate things or again you will feel overwhelmed and gain no momentum.

As for the basics, I have a new product in creation at the moment that I will be giving away for free. It covers the basic foundations you need to start your online business. No pitch here, just some up and coming free info to help. Will be ready in a couple of weeks on my blog.

As for mentors....the best advice I can give is not to jump in too soon on this one. Reach out to a few who you really feel you relate to, and see what happens. It took me almost a year to find the right mentor for me personally, but once I did, it was a major turning point for me and well worth the research and wait.

Wishing you all the best in your new online ventures buddy!

    Hi Chris
If it's "Raw Info" you are after you are at the right place. I can almost guarantee that most of your questions have been answered. Just use the search function to find what you are looking for.

As far as a mentor is concerned, although i admire a Kid who sticks by his principles/morals, you will find that the worthwhile mentors only work for money, not promises of loyal friendship or profit sharing. Also they don't need you, you need them so don't expect them to seek you out...

      Wow,

Thanks so much everyone, I really appreciate all the detailed and incredibly useful feedback, I was going to reply to everyone individually to comment on all the great points, but that would have been an even longer message than the original and I didnt want to waste any of your time additionally. I would; however, thoroughly enjoy knowing where the "Thank you" button is.

I probably wont be commenting/posting again for awhile whilst I toil away and figure some of this stuff out. I have a strategy I am going to try finish planning out tonight before I have to go to work tomorrow morning.

Hopefully launch the campaign by the end of the week and have some results within the next few days. I truly appreciate all of your feedback, much thanks for the warning on the methodology of mentors in this industry, I've noticed a few of the "guru's" and the type of vibe many of them give off. It's a little bit different from mentors in accounting! Haha, most are all too keen to make you do tons of paper work... Damn tax forms.

Currently I am looking at focusing in on the whole "Blog" process, figured I could help others learn from my failures if nothing else. Just going over and explaining the details and how to's of building a business, the different types of businesses, industries, researching, responsibilities, time management techniques, and other things I found to be a pain to get the hang of (work/life balance and not making your girlfriends hate you...Getting sleep).

I was thinking of tumblr, or blogger, but I am not too keen on using a platform that is completely controlled by someone else, I was thinking of maybe a wordpress site? I also understand that HTML5 is the definite way to go, as many of you are probably aware (if not, you can thank me later, cause now you know).

I dont truly have time to go and learn HTML5 or java though, so if anyone has suggestions on outsourcing or specific VA resources, that would also be a huge help. Any SEO tools or engines for social media automation would also be a huge help. Something like hootsuite but maybe a free version?

I've done some research into spin rewriters... Honestly the way a lot of them are built is really sad and annoys me, but I dont see the value of developing a proper application for rewriting articles as Summly is going to be dominating the industry soon enough...

PS, I am consistently looking for coders, I pay cash and equity depending on the person, their ability/experience, and the size of the project and work load. So if you know any coders, PM me and Ill give you my business email.

If you are looking to blog about your experience that is great but just remember that to teach someone you must first know how to do it. You are new to this field, some of the stuff you talk about in this quote show be left out until you yourself have accumulated your systems which work for you!

Warriors For Hire for finding people to outsource to, there is also elance, odesk etc...

Hootsuite has a free option which can schedule tweets and facebook message, unfortunately the free version you can't upload it via an CSV so it is slightly more time consuming.

I've done some research into spin rewriters... Honestly the way a lot of them are built is really sad and annoys me, but I dont see the value of developing a proper application for rewriting articles as Summly is going to be dominating the industry soon enough...

I am wondering is your accounting model something you put into actual practice, or, is it something in theory you believe could work?

Anyway, you want information. Here you go for MLM just read subjects you're interested in and knock yourself out. mlm - WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums - Threads Tagged with mlm

Ok for blogs: blogging - WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums - Threads Tagged with blogging DISCLAIMER: when you go through the blog titles make sure you look to the far right and only click on ones that are in "main internet marketing discussion forum" &, social media forum. All those other sections is too noisy right now.

As far as a mentor: You can check the members contest challenges section for an ongoing thread of people who have skills who maybe a fit for mentoring you. Don't get your hopes up though.
People usually want money in return for mentoring.

    Hi Chris

Great attitude! like you, I really like the principals of MLM and the teaching that is normally provided, a great community and great people. The 2 problems I Had was, the products, some good some ok some really bad and over priced!! and also having to receive and deliver said products, you spend more on fuel than it is worth!

I am currently looking at a product which combines MLM and Self development, I would give you the link but not sure if I am allowed to do so in this forum, but you can email me for more info if you wish. laurietubbassociates@gmail.com.

The product is in its prelaunch stage looks great works well and the comp plan is solid and is shipped via the mobile network. It could go viral.

    Talk soon
