i like it looks sophisicated and clean and professional, the wording mix memorisation ... is a little bit confusing for me, can you explain that more clearly perhaps?

Looks great! What is your theme? If you are dealing with wine, it fits very well with your design.

I prefer the look of your new design. It has a nice, polished sophisticated feel.

I don't think that white writing on a black background (like the old site) is a good idea - you're better off with a white background

Looks pretty good to me. I always like a little color in my headers and footers, but I suppose you are going for the look of the dim lights in a bar. Something that might be cool is to have one little bit of color -- like the glass has amber liquid in it. Kind of like Spielberg did in Schindlers List.

But that is just my screwy idea. The site looks great. Too bad I quit drinking 15 years ago.

I like the new design much better. The old one is a bit hard to read and not nearly as pro.

It looks great. Since you want people to associate your program with making more tips why not slip a tip jar or decantor with $20s or $100s. Just an idea. Nice layout though.

Most of this is personal preference, apart from point 1 which has some science behind it.

    1) Agreed. This design is a lot less busy, and yes, light text on a dark background only works for the scrolling text on the start of Star Wars

White on black never works on a website because people are slower reading white on black and as we all know people want information quickly with the minimum of hassle otherwise they click away

    2) Just a terminology thing - I think "Cocktails" rather than mixed drinks. Cocktails seems more glamorous as a word too - mix drinks is something I did as a student when I was short on beer money and mixed all sorts of evil stuff together....taste was secondary to raw power

    3) Your logo looks quite round, why not add some sort of headphones theme/outline to the logo to really push it's an audio course?

    4) Would like to see some of the content in the middle panel to comment further. Your previous site from your footer sig has what I would call a high "sizzle factor" with all the animations and stuff - very much style over substance in places...IMs love "in yer face" sizzle, as a user experience specialist, I know users hate it....

I've checked some other cocktail websites (jeez they're bad, yours is looking much better!) and

Pina Colada Cocktail Recipe | In The Spirit this is about the most understated and pro-looking site I could find..

The actual recipe part of this one looks quite nice: On the beach - Sainsbury's - Try something new today

Hope this helps - good luck with it. Keep us updated

Nice - I do like the new design much better, it looks really good and I think will be easier to read with the light background.

    Well done!

Definitely much better. But you need to change the font to "arial" instead of Times New Roman. Times New Roman looks cheap, and very 90's web design.

Looks great - kudos. The only thing I don't like is that you'll probably never buy me a beer for patting your back.

I guess I'll be the first to say this, but your original looks better.

Your whole goal is to capture the attention of the viewer within the first few seconds so I brought up both templates and I honestly think the original does the job. The new one looks nice but is to plain imho.

If you add a few little things to your original template it'll blow that new one out of the water..

But idk anything so ignore me.

The new design looks pretty good...but which one sells better?

I also think the header in the old one is a little too big, so maybe the new one will fix that, it's hard to tell for sure with just a screenshot though.

        Hey John,

The new design is very classy....

You've already been given some very good advice already so I won't repeat any...

But you need to test both and see which one converts better....

        Regards

        Greg
