Confusing Google Analytics Vs Hops # stat!!!

Hi, I have a page in Google SERP at 4th position for a (pretty popular keyword) and it was pulling some traffic from Google. Hop count showing peculiar statistics against GAnalytics. As:

March 12, 2013
0 Hops # against 206 GA visits

March 11, 2013
14 Hops# against 239 visits in GA

March 10, 2013
141 hops# against 137 visits in GA (my page suddenly came 1st position, stayed few hours and went back to 4th again!)

What confusing me is the March 12 stat, how come hops # could be O, when GA visitors was 206? March 13 hops # is 0 as well, yet to get GA stat for March 13 though!

What could be the reasons for 0 hops? Any idea?

the hops # should be the visitors that clicked on the product link.

Do you use a landing page? I think that the landing page tracked by the GA. And a hyperlink which inside the landing page tracked by the "hop".

Can you explain what is "hop" tracking website?
