INTERNET MARKETING

I'm trying to do a little market research before I launch something and was wondering if you would be so kind as to answer the following questions in regards to the Poll attached above.

Question:
How many are familiar with Hello Bar and what it does?
Would you use a free service that is just like it?
Would you pay, and if so, how much would you be willing to pay?

So you made a product without checking the competition/alternatives??
Addthis are not the only free alternative to Hello bar, probably at leas 10 more free solutions out there.
But that doesn't mean that there's no room for new products, they just have to be better, offering more value.

Well, actually yes. I made it for my own usage. Then thought of releasing it to others.
My thoughts and making it better are:

Allow email optin in the bar
Allow for an ad rotator where others can place it on their thank you pages and have their ad seen on others pages
Have the bar appear on the bottom as well as the top

Any other ideas?

I've been using hellobar free version for a longwhile and if you're providing better alternative, will use it on my blogs and I've over 1500 friends on my FB profile and most of them are bloggers. If you launch it, let me know by PM and congrats for your new venture.

Or just use the free Wordpress plugin:

Personally I wouldn't be willing to pay anything for a bar like this when there are other free solutions that do the same job for me.

But that's just my own opinion...
