Default Product Launches with Video driving in car - too funny

Is it like a trend now where if your going to launch a product, you have to make a video of you driving your car and someone filming you while you talk lol

I think originally the first time i saw it was kern as usual kern is usually the first to do anything original

after that comes a trail of people doing the same, hey kern did it.. so ill jump in my car and have someone video me, i have no idea why but it looks cool, people want to see me driving down the road, talking crap, ill do my best to keep my eyes on the road while i glance over and look at the camera

Im wondering how long before we see someone crash doing it

Its too funny now, its so overdone its like when the first initial Leaked PDF report came out, after that droves of peoples started doing the same

Come on lets switch it up...

I think im going to do my next product launch with me sitting on the toilet taking a crap

So what are you going to get for your money? here take a peek down the toilet

If it increases conversions, which some have reported it does significantly for some reason, then do it

Sure, its pretty smart to figure out what they are up to - but it is much smarter to move past that and see if it makes business sense to emulate.

It would be much funnier when you're recording the video in your car and then a police stop you.

Anyway, I think by showing videos of someone driving a car, it makes the person more real and somehow a good way to show the natural side of whoever being recorded.

EPIC AWESOMENESS ==> My Blog. Duh.

Actually, this is psychology-based... the real reason for doing this is to take the viewer on a "subliminal journey" This harkens back to the Annihilation Method, where you can make chicks think they've known you for longer if you do a first date where you visit many places... i.e. get drinks at one place, eat dinner at another, get dessert somewhere else, go clubbing somewhere else. Sub-consciously, you form a stronger bond with the person because they feel they've known you for longer because you've formed all these different "experiences" with them.

So, Frank Kern takes you on a "subliminal journey" in his car where you sub-consiously feel that you know him better and form a strong bond with him... he usually ends up at a "destination" that sends subliminal messages to your brain also.. such as the beach.

Kern is a psych/NLP master when it comes to selling stuff online. There is a reason for EVERY SINGLE THING HE DOES... nothing is trivial... everything is on purpose.

Of course, part of Frank's mystique is that he offers you something you haven't seen or heard before, because he's an original. This means you get a chance to buy from an original thinker.

If you offer something for people to see and hear just like Frank, that doesn't give your customers the opportunity to buy from an original thinker, does it?

Unless his instructions specifically include, "Step 6, post the driving video," I think you're better off finding an original way to show people who you are... which may or may not involve any time in an automobile!

Allen

This may not work for everyone. I wouldn't buy an IM product from a guy on video driving his KIA

To be honest with you, the best ideas come to me while i'm driving, and i also shoot videos with my flip while driving. I don't know about intentionally doing it, but i always have had great ideas to film about in the truck.

Hah, we used it on our new site. Wasn't my idea though.

It might be hard to believe, but not everyone has seen F.K.s videos or heard of him. There's an enormous amount of people online, and he seems clever but I don't think he's hit 100% saturation yet.

What's worse, is people not using video at all.

I thought roley wanted to be original, and you're ripping Kern off again - isn't he the one that keeps saying "buy my ****"?
