I Just Received Ezine Expert Author Status-What are the benefits?

So I check my email this morning and find out that I have been excepted for expert author status for two of my articles.

The email also said:

Your article will appear on our high-traffic home page within 48 hours:
EzineArticles Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints

Your article has also been sent to our exclusive EzineArticles RSS
Feed and to our proprietary EzineArticles Email Alert Members.

So what I'm wondering is, will these articles be published in a different spot from the other articles that don't have expert author status?

Will I be receiving a lot more traffic than my average articles get?

The weird thing about it is I just created this account and submitted 3 articles. Within 2 days I got expert author status and 2 articles accepted on the home page.

Do a lot of people get this expert author status?

For all your questions, the answer is: NO...

except for this one: "Do a lot of people get this expert author status?" --> Yes, almost everyone who submit articles there...

The only thing your expert status will change is that your articles may be accepted faster.

Yeah, sorry to disappoint you but this is just a generic Email sent by Ezine articles each time your article is accepted in to the article directory, watch next time you submit an article and it is approved.

EZA just wants you to feel "special" - pamper your ego.

Expert, in their eyes, doesn't mean much more than that you have submitted some articles and had them published.

You should see how SearchWarp tries to make you feel "special".

They give your articles star ratings. But if you have a fragile ego, ignore those star ratings because whether you submit a quality article or not, in the end it depends on the editor - how much he/she likes your article, or if you've ruffled their feathers in the past by complaining.

You feel good that your article has been accepted
You write more and use it as a traffic bait
Your articles could be syndicated elsewhere with your links

NOT ALL ARTICLES ARE ACCEPTED AND SO YOU SHOULD FEEL GREAT.

Good job, keep going though. Write more articles, lots more and you will get some targeted traffic to your site or sites.

Expert status is just like Sylviad said to make you feel special and encourage you to write more articles.

Wow..congrats bro...i think if have got an increment then you can ask for your performance report from the site where u submit so that u can get increment in your cost/article..as i think so!!!

Seriously though I was happy about getting rid of the 7 days
delay to get your articles and jump in the 48 hrs category.

So there are real perks.

Wow I feel pretty stupid right now for posting this thread. For a second I thought I was going to be receiving some special benefits and more traffic.

Well on a positive side note I just made my first two sales two nights ago on the 18th! I can't complain about that. w00t w00t!

I did not know that. I was wondering why others were complaining their articles took 7 days for approval, and mine went up faster than that. I must be in the 96-hour bracket, though.
