Amazon Affiliate question...

Hi,

I have a domain with ~2K U.S. visitors a day. I was wondering if it is okay to have the traffic forward to Amazon or is that against their TOS?

Thanks

No you can not directly forward the traffic to amazon. You could make a landing pages with the best offers on amazon in your niche and forward your domain to that. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I would suggest setting up a site like this, it might at least inspire you to do something like it...

won't this kind of a site be penalized for duplicate content?

It might have some trouble in rankings if it mostly scraped content, but adding unique content would counter that.

The OP already has traffic, he needs somewhere to send it.

So his goal with a site like this would not be to rank in Google with SEO, it would be to use it as a landing page for his existing streams of traffic in order to funnel it to Amazon and monetize it.

If you are getting traffic from some other source than Google- autoblog, YouTube, PPC, Banners- then you want a destination page that converts the traffic to clicks and/or sales.

In this case, the goal is conversion not ranking in Google.
