Some help with 2CO Account integration?

I am currently in the process of setting up a 2co account due to the bashing I got from Paypal. The problem is I am a complete noob when it comes to coding. I have submitted the application to them and have also uploaded my products (writing services to be exact).

I had a few questions and was hoping that you people could help me.

First of all was I supposed to integrate the cart before sending out the application or will the application still get approved without the integration. This would give me some time to learn more about their process.

Secondly, HOW THE HELL am I going to get from the "clicking buy now button" phase to the purchase. What I mean to ask is that I know that when I create a product I can copy an HTML snippet from their site and paste it on my own, thus creating the buy now button.

The problem and question starts from there. What happens when I click that button? Where do I land? How to create the form that asks the customer for further product details like the quantity and billing information?
And if I can change the button? That thing is HIDEOUS.

I googled it a lot and haven't been able to find anything useful.
