Being biased on digital products, I'd like to diversify into physical products e.g. audio CDs using kunaki for fulfilment. But is it worth creating such a business now? Are CDs on their way out like the original laserdisc? Do you see a day when CDs, even DVDs are redundant? |

I think there will still be a need for it to a degree. I have a couple of products that the older generation buy and they still pay extra to get the hard copy with CD's rather than the downloadable version.

I am on a lot of mailing lists here in the UK and can say that DVD and CD and CD-Rom are still selling like mad. People still like to get physical products. I will be going into this area myself before long. |

Yes, I agree. A lot of people still prefer physical CD's. I do myself. It's a lot easier to use sometimes, as one isn't always at the computer. |
