Automobile niche in amazon

Hi all, I'm planning to start a new site for promoting amazon's automobile niche.

My question,

What kind of products in automobile niche I can build around? I want to build a review site. Do you think people will read the tyre reviews before they buy a tyre? Beside tyre, what else I can do??

Any suggestions on automobile niche?

Of course they will, people will often look for reviews right before they buy, to make sure they are making the right purchase. You want to catch them in the review phase, a descriptive review will assure and help them find the part they are looking for.

Don't forget to place some call to actions in your review (click here for more info)

But honestly, there are hundreds of niches in the automobile market.

If you're thinking of making a tire review site, check out tirerack.com to get a general idea of what you will be up against. They also have an affiliate program, but you'll be up against people with real marketing budgets or that have established niche communities.

I'm not trying to sound negative, but from your post it seems that you randomally decided. Yes, I'm going after the auto niche!

haha, actually i'm planning to open a new site for my dad. Since he has retired, and doing nothing at home, i guess i better assign some tasks for him.

Beside tyre, what are the sub-niche in automobile lend themselves a review??

Wheels would be a good cross promotion for tires.

        Electronics - stereos, GPS, etc.

Parts & accessories, both OEM parts and aftermarket.

Books - collectors, repair manuals, etc.

Lots of subniches you could target in that market. Just go and check out the subsections on Amazon or eBay, or scan through a couple of magazines next time you're in a store and you'll probably find lots of ideas.

I'd go for something like car electronics gps systems, radar detectors, stereos etc it's a wide enough niche, lots of products and reviews. It could be fairly competitive though. If your Dad can write engaging, informative articles it would be a plus.

What is your dads interests? does he tinker with a specific car model in his garage. You could build him a blog around that. Documenting all the work he's doing and have affiliate links to the tools, parts, etc. that he uses in the process.

It's hard to tell what direction your Dad will want to go with the website.

Your question is like pointing to the ocean on a map and asking for that fish.
