Alright, everybody. I want some quick opinions on something. Let's say you've picked a niche you thought might be a good one.

You test it, you blog it, you bum-market it, maybe you even adwords it.

How do you know when it's time to bail out, abandon ship, and try something else?

When you aren't making a good amount of money for the time you put in.

Well - it depends on how much of all that you have actually done. If you have posted a few links, written 5 articles, posted a blog and a lenz... you ain't done yet.

Once you have done about 50 of each of the above for different keywords and you get NO sales. Bail.

Its a hard question to answer and depends on the niche and what the concept is. There are a number of viable online businesses that don't make anything worthwhile for the first month or even multiple months, some even take a year to really take off. It depends how much of your time it is taking and if you have reached the threshold where you should be seeing some return by now.
