Hi in google analytics is there a way of getting the exact page/link referral traffic has come from
For example if it says 100 visits from warriorforum.com can I get the exact thread or post it comes from

    Yes you can

    Go to your analytics account and then follow the steps below:

    traffic sources>sources>referrals>click on the source you want to check.

    Now you will see all the threads, specific links and etc. the traffic comes from

    You were probably only 1 click away...

    When I started reviewing the actual threads that people were clicking through on, it really surprised me. Prepare to be blown away... Not always but sometimes you will have tons of clicks from a post that you barely spent any time on and never thought about again. It's weird...

    The other members have good advice here. I just wanted to add something. If you are tracking links in a signature, you can use the URL builder to customize those URL’s. They will then be much easier to see in reports. You could use it to experiment which area of the forum you get the most interaction on.
