Transfer domain name from Network Solutions to GoDaddy?

Network Solutions wants to charge me $35.00 to renew a domain name. That seems crazy. How do I get it transferred to GoDaddy? Thanks!

    you have to do an epp transfer. its a special authorisation code that must be taken over to the new registrar.

    In your domain control panel, you should do the following things

    1. Request authorization code
    2. Turn off domain protect

    Your authorization code will be sent to you by e-mail.

    You will then have to follow the instructions of godaddy on how to transfer the domain.

    Read the GoDaddy site... Especially the link that says "Transfer domains to GoDaddy"

    You can't transfer if it expires in, IMS, 30 days.
