How can I make $1K/mth ASAP?

Hi,

I am interested to know how I can make $1K/mth or more ASAP only using the internet and phone.

Basically I am living in a different country where I do not speak the language and can not get work.

So I am dependent on using the internet to make money and I need to get the the $1K/mth goal ASAP to at least pay for my main expenses, more would be better, but I need to hit that goal, like yesterday. Also, I have little to no budget.

Can anyone provide me with "realistic" suggestions that will work please?

    I wish there was a set in stone way to make 1k a month online, but really there isn't.

    I recommend you learn the ropes of list building, and start a list. Everyone says it and its true, the money is IN THE LIST!

      What about list building for affiliate electronic product review sites? I would have thought that the potential customer would be a one-off and building a list would be a waste?

      Offer Services

      1. Grab a piece of paper
      2. Write down everything you are good at
      3. Take the top 3 you can do immediately
      4. Offer them as a service to people
      5. Bid on jobs and take work when you get it
      6. Outsource the work to your virtual assistant or do it yourself
      7. Deliver the work
      8 Collect payments via PayPal and pay your assistant if applicable

      Promoting your services...

      1. Forums (ie Warrior Forum)

      You need to be personable and not come across as scammy, desperate, or shady. Be cool and helpful around the forum and then once people start warming up to you, post your jobs in the "classifieds" or "warriors for hire" section. Also, make a cool signature file that links to your gigs.

      2. Facebook Groups
      3. linkedIn Groups

      Same approach as forums except it might take a little longer and you need to and needs to be really one on one through direct messaging.

      4. Local Offline Businesses
      5. Local Colleges

      Cold Calling, Walk Ins, or COC meetings are good approaches. Have a pitch ready and try each prospect at least twice. If you have a budget, do some advertising in the local newspaper or shopping guide.

      6. Craigslist
      7. Problogger Job Board
      8. Guru.com

      Post gigs and respond to gigs that are already posted by potential clients. Keep it real and don't over-promise on anything. KISS!

      Services that people will pay for...

      1. Creating Videos
      2. Editing Videos
      3. Creating Websites or Landing Pages
      4. Posting Ads
      5. Creating Graphics
      6. Coding Websites or Applications
      7. Writing Articles

      Important Caveats...

      1.If you can't do the work, outsource it using Hire the best Filipino employees and virtual assistants the Philippines has to offer!

      2. You can charge between $100 to $1000+ per gig. You might have to haggle the price but that's okay.

      3. Write up a work contract and make sure it's agreed upon before doing the work or outsourcing it.

      4. Take screenshots and build a portfolio on blogger as you get more work done. This will make getting more clients easier.

        Sorry to hear about your situation, but like I tell my younger brothers, you don't move anywhere without planing ahead. They move to places like Florida because it's nice and warm, but go without a job in place, and their own place. They call a few weeks later, talking about how nice the weather is, but they have no job or a pot to piss in.

        If I were you, I would keep trying to find a job, and go on Fiverr and the classified section here on the WF, and offer services like writing, graphics, or anything you can, to start making some money right away.

        Everybody wants to make $$$$ ASAP, but that's not how it works. Internet marketing is not a machine to print money, you have to build your own money machine before you can hit the print button.

    Hey man, so many different ways to make 1k per month...

    Whatever you do in IM though I would recommend to start building your list. Everyone says it and it's for good reason. Every big IM guru builds his or her list and there's a reason for that.

    If you're not familiar with the metrics for gauging profitability for an email list the rule of thumb is each subscriber is worth $1 per month. So by this standard you need to build your list to 1000 people and you will be making roughly $1000 a month.

    Now obviously some lists are much less responsive and that's because the marketer doesn't build a relationship with his following he just sends them offers all the time...

    Anyways, I can go on an on about email marketing but ya if you want to make $1000 a month in the shortest time possible start building your list. It's a long-term asset.

      Making money online is all about setting a goal then matching that goal with your skill set working then with a system. If you are presently not making any regular monthly income then chances are you have no marketable online skills or a proper system. Go to Fiverr.com and see what is being offered there and what sells a lot. This will give you a good idea as to how to match up your acquired life skills with popular online services being offered. If you provide value and over deliver to your customers you can make money fast.

    All IM business requires time and investment.

    You want a business that makes money fast. You can try CPA offers but that requires cash for traffic.

    You like a business with low start-up, you can create a blog and monetize from it. But it takes awhile.

    I think the best way for you to make some money now is to offer services in fiverr or freelancer.

    I have worked fricken hard for the last 12 years and finally I am doing it... There is never a quick or easy way to do anything.... once you learn that you will start to make money and it will last for years...

    It might take you some time before you will be able to set up the whole website and start making money from it. I will personally go get a job first and do my internet business part time. This will enable you to pay your bills and you will have some money to invest into your internet business. I think that is the more practical approach.

      This is legitimate, a lot of people start selling one thing on Fiverr, gain a reputation and scale up to $1,000 a month fairly quickly. Like a friend said in an earlier comment, make a list of five things you are good at/areas where you possess knowledge, pick ONE to start with and TAKE ACTION, advertise yourself on Fiverr. You are not going to start making $1,000 a month tomorrow, but you are also not going to make $1,000 after 30 days from now if you do nothing today....or tomorrow....

    Well, to be frank kyleoxenham making $1000 per month is really difficult until and unless U have a well established service or website..

    It takes time to have a earning of $1000 per month.. Start up something small, expertise yourself in it, start earning and then outsource your work.. Then probably U will start earning $1000 per month.. I dont even say it is difficult..

    I suggest a tiered approach. While you (1) offer Fiverr services for immediate cash, you should (2) start a website with affiliate offers. Blog on it, build your credibility, and (3) start making a list. The fiverr stuff will pay off before the website, but the website should start to pay off before you can really monetize your list...but once you have the list that will (probably) be your major source of income. Takes time, though, so start planning ahead and building your three levels of "internet presence".

    The first question is "What skills do you have?"

    $1,000 a month is a fairly realistic goal.

    If you have any internet marketing skill (SEO, pay per click,
    marketing with online video, social media marketing etc etc)
    then you could use that skill to help brick and mortar businesses.

    You can definitely get clients remotely simply by searching
    cities online that speak the same language you do and looking
    for businesses where just looking at their websites you can see
    ways of helping them.

    Then you can contact them with a screenshot of their site and
    suggestions of how you might help them.

    If you follow up by phone with any interested business owners you
    should get a good conversion rate.

    Just one client should be worth $1,000+ to you so that would get
    you hitting your goal fairly quickly.

    Also you can charge 50% to 100% of your fee upfront so you could
    be making money very quickly.

      Assuming you have very few skills in internet marketing, (only judging by your post count) I would suggest selling other people's items on eBay.

      You can run free ads in Craigslist telling people about your service, take anywhere from 30 - 50% commission from each sale and begin selling people's items on eBay.

      Stick with higher dollar items and do not waste your time with lower dollar items.

      When you're ready to ramp it up, a GREAT thing to sell (once you've developed an initial positive feedback score) is cars / vehicles. I've made over $90,000 (profit, not gross sales) by selling cars on eBay Motors over the last several years.

      And you can do this on a consignment basis, too.

      1. Contact vehicle sellers on Craigslist.

      Often, they have had difficulty selling their cars due to the local nature of Craigslist, which means there aren't very many people seeing their car for sale.

      2. You can list their vehicles on eBay (exposing their car to the World) on their behalf and for a commission. (anywhere between $300 - $500 per vehicle, depending on what you negotiate beforehand. You can even agree to a certain dollar amount they want for their car and then make any profits above that amount - it depends on what you've agreed to - a commission deal or a profit-sharing deal)

      This is a quick and simple way to generate $1,000 a month, part-time.

      You're providing a much-needed service, (some people are desperate to sell) have zero money invested in product and are using the world's biggest venue for vehicle sales - eBay Motors. (Approx. 1.2 million people visit eBay Motors each month. Sales on eBay Motors have been averaging ONE CAR PER MINUTE)

      I would also have to agree with doing fiverr as a starting point. Just list all what you can do for people that's worth 5$.

      When you've done that, you can also check out mturk.com
      That's a site where all the jobs are just listed and you can do them instantly (when your account is approved). When i found this site and did some research i found out people are making 20-30$ a day rather easily. If you then get some sales from fiverr (promote gigs in your signature here for example to get more sales), you might just reach 1000$ a month

    If you are just starting out, and have little to no experience... yet still want to start earning that kind of money within a month or 2... You need to find a really good coach. Period. Unless of course you are a genius. I am not... so I speak from experience.

    Don't do what I did and struggle for 2 years spending $100.00 per month on products and stuff... instead raise the cash for a great mentor, who isn't a big guru, and therefore knows how to coach you to where you want to go, but won't charge the earth to show you.

    Build a website and sell some sort of service. So far this has been the only way I've ever been truly successful at making money online, and most of the time it has simply been reselling services.

    There are so many different online services you can provide. A good one might be web design, or SEO.

    try reselling, make some money with it then invest it in making a site
    learn SEO , try to build a list, it will take time but it's a good way to make money
    avoid any scam or BS and you'll have a great relation with your list

    if you want a "realistic" suggestion in making 1 grand/month using the internet and a phone with little to no budget, then I suggest work as a freelancer online. There are a lot of telemarketing jobs that offers $6-10/hr, 8 hours a day 6 days a week which you only need to be fluent in english, internet and a usa phone number, then use these things in getting your job done by simply getting sales.

    so let's do the math you work for 6$/hr.

    6 x 8 x 6 x 4(weeks) = $1152/month

    there you go you can earn a grand easily ASAP.

    Kyle, the best option is to provide services if you are in need of immediate cash. Working online is not limited to a geographical area, so you can be working with people who speak English and are located somewhere else, assuming you read, write and speak English. Best places to find and bid for jobs are oDesk.com, elance.com, freelancer.com. Hope that helps...

    The simplest and most high percentage way to make $1000 is to join a few writing sites that have many assignments available every day (like Textbroker, Demand Studios, etc) and write 9-10 $4-$5 articles a day, at least 6 days/week. That should earn one $250 a week, or $1000 after a month.

    This may be mind numbing labor, but with a bit of discipline it will get the job done. Hopefully the OP just needed a short term cash infusion, so this work should be supplemented by other kinds of web projects (site creation, list building, reselling etc) to create better or more passive income in the long term.
