That's the age old question. How to make money with no monetary investment.

I'd recommend searching for Travis Sago and "bum marketing". Very Little tech skills needed, just pick a product, write articles, and promote, promote, promote.

Invest your time, it's cheaper.

Bum marketing is a good option. I had good luck writing quality affiliate product reviews and working hard to promote them when I got going. It can be tedious, but you'll learn a lot about promotion and it is a good way to make money without spending much.

I'm new to this also. I have a niche book for single parents that I want to market but don't have funds to promote it. What are some free methods I can get the word out about my book and draw some traffic to my website?

  After you get the minimum number of posts, just click on the blue username on the left side of the post and in the menu, it'll say Send a private message to _____.

You just need to set yourself up with a simple website to sell your book from, then write some articles about it to drive some traffic to it.

  On free article directory sites, there are hundreds of them but start off with the most popular (or the best basically).
  
  Try these for starters:
  - Ezine Articles
  - Go Articles
  - Buzzle
  - Article Base
  - Article Blast
  - Article City
  - Isnare
  
  Just set up an account with them (2 minute job), write yourself a good profile for each, then start submitting.
