It would be nice if Amazon would tell my why they dropped my account

Not really sure why they dropped my account, I've had the account for years.

Hello.

We are writing to notify you that we are terminating the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement with you with immediate effect. Your Associates Program account will be closed and you will not receive further payment of advertising fees. We have taken this step because you are not in compliance with the Operating Agreement that governs your participation in the Associates Program.

You are not in compliance with the Linking Requirements(https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...rating/linking) because your site makes inaccurate, overbroad, deceptive or otherwise misleading claims about Products, the Amazon Site, or our policies, promotions or prices.

You can find the complete terms of the Operating Agreement and its Schedules via this link: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...ates/agreement.

We insist that you immediately stop this activity and remove all Amazon content, including Special Links, from your site(s). Any other accounts you have or may open in the future may be closed and you will not receive any advertising fees. We reserve all other rights and claims we may have.

Warmest Regards,

Amazon.com

It sounds to me like they did.

Most companies would normally refer you to their agreement
which can be many pages long for you to determine which
one the the policies you are not in compliance with. At least
they told you that it was the linking policy. But as far as they
'pointing out which of the links hardly any company would give that
type of detail. If you are saying that you have had the account
for many years and you have not changed anything then there
may have been a new policy that kicked you out of the circle.

This must be frustrating, so I which I could be of more help.

There it is clear as day

Your best bet is not to lose sleep over it, and move on to something else.

There is nothing misleading about my sites, a few review sites, the rest are auto update sites using the most popular plugins.

Amazon clearly tells you why they terminate your account in the email.

They think you are not in compliance with their Linking Requirements.

The problem is I have lots of different sites. I just noticed they closed my wife's account (6 websites) and another account I helped a friend setup. That account only has one website using wprobot.

You may have created these accounts using a single IP address.

Amazon knows there is some connection between these accounts.

One account termination may cause other accounts terminated.

It may be because the sites are autoblogs. It could be Amazon is cracking down on those, or it could be because your autoblog software is making posts that are causing problems.

At the above snaphats.org site I saw the following problems:

Product was listed on your site with "lowest price guarantee" and the link went to Amazon where the product was out of stock and had no price guarantee.

All the "Compare Prices" links do not go to a price comparison page or offer more than one option. All those links are Amazon affiliate links to the product.

Products are listed on your site with prices displayed.

"Add to Cart" does not add to cart. All "Add to Cart" links are affiliate links to the product at Amazon.

All your links are hidden with Javascript. Which I'm not sure is a problem in itself but it hides your links which are already deceptive.

I didn't look at the other sites, but almost every link on snaphats.org is deceptive.

Which is exactly what they said the problem was.

You were right. I emailed Amazon asking for more information and they emailed the following. I'll try converting my Amazon sites to Ebay, not sure if they will keep their bing and yahoo rankings. I should have been more careful with some of the themes I've purchased.

That maybe the reason your account got banned. Trying to help a friend out, and your income gets taken down with it.

Don't worry my dude. You're not the only person this has happened to. Hundreds of very good business owners who were making $5,000 a month or more on Amazon had their account shut down for no good and clear reason. I got my account banned right after i started making $100 a day... within 30 days. They froze my account, froze my funds, and i had to work at the local taco bell to pay the rent for the next 2 months. Kindle does the same thing... start your own website. That's the best way to go.

I doubt Amazon goes around randomly closing accounts...
He did have his own websites, helps to read the OP....
