Wordpress themes for NON blog type sites?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm looking for a wordpress theme that would be suitable for showing products. For example.

Front page shows 5 or 6 top products in categories.

You have as many category sections that show the different products in each category.

Almost like a magazine layout. Or similar to a web hosting site where they show their hosting plans and additional services.

Any recommendations?

Or would a different CMS besides wordpress be better for this?

You might be able to use WordPress Product Review Themes | reviewsPRESS.com

It comes with a number of different themes and
I think there's an OTO for extra themes.

Thanks but not quite what I'm looking for. In fact I may have a hard time explaining what I am looking for. I see it in my mind but my fingers can't seem to type it.

How about checking out "StudioPress" WordPress Themes by StudioPress - I love the Lifestyle theme.

Or "Flexibility" Flexibility Theme for WordPress

Ryan who makes the Flexibility themes has recently brought out "FlexSqueeze" which might also be good to look over.

You can still get "flexibility" free but also buy his premium versions.

I use the flexibility theme a lot and love it. Just will not work with what I want to do on this project.

I'm going to TRY to describe what I am looking for a little better. Get ready for a train wreck.

On the front page I want to place modules where I want. Like a 3 x 4 table for example.

I need tabs to different pages.

On category pages I also need to place modules where I want. Some may need 2 x 2 tables while others may need 3 x 6 tables.

Each module in a table matrix needs to click to a dedicated page or blog entry.

The more I think about it, Wordpress may just not work for what I need.

King Cart Free WordPress e-Commerce Theme: Crafty Cart

This one might work for you. It's free, too. I know I've seen others. Try searching for
'wordpress ecommerce theme' or 'wordpress store theme'.
