    There are 3 mass niches:

    1. Make Money Online
    2. Health & Fitness
    3. Relationships (and Pick Up)

    (4. Forex)

I don't know ... but when you find out what it is, give it a very wide berth, because the niche with the most conversions will almost certainly be a really difficult one to venture into and make money. This much I do know - it's just an inevitable statistical reality.

The reason is explained in some detail in this post (though you may need to read that thread's OP to make sense of it ): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7755115

Very true, you can't sell to the "wealth" market, you need to sell to a segment of that market that you can speak to.

Successful folks don't really tend to share what's working for them, so you'd probably be very surprised at what really is lucrative besides all the obvious ones mentioned.

Hi, well there are varying numbers depending on how you look at things.

The niche with the most amount of searches including all of it's sub niches is Porn.

      Followed by dating/relationship

      Followed by make money

If you look at revenues it's hard to say because so many of the porn players hide and don't publish numbers. But in the real world it looks like porn would take that category as well.

From the next two it would appear make money has the earnings edge over relationship.

The reason I didn't post links is because 1. I'm not posting porn related links here.
And 2. The numbers are all over the place depending on what experts site you're on at the moment.

I agree with this, but then I tend to think of porn as a sub niche of relationships :p

With respect I don't agree with this sentiment

You go after something where the money is, and if it bores you stupid then outsource it.

If you go after just what interests you most then you're leaving money on the table.

I agree with BOTH of you in that: I would lay out great money making niches that have great potential and then think deeply about which one would i be most passionate about. Then I would go for that one.

The reason is, most will find it challenging to stay with something they really just don't like.

        I hope that makes sense.

I agree and disagree just to be a little more awkward! I believe that passion allows for people to stay in a niche and market their website more easily opposed to something they hate. On the other hand, if I have a website on pottery and it is banking me 10k a month, it isn't the website I enjoy, its the returns I would enjoy. So I would do the thing i don't like to enjoy the rest of the things I do like. Do you understand where I am coming from .

I understand completely. However, I would bet that the vast majority will never stay in the niche they can't stand long enough to make 10K per month so that they love the money.

I could be wrong but I'm just betting on human nature.

I suppose it depends what you want to do.

If you're into product/service creation then launching another me-too dating site in competition with the big boys isn't going to make your fortune. But being an affiliate in the same niche could be very lucrative.

Ya try and do something within your own interests or else you might bore yourself to death just chasing money!

But generally anything in health, wealth or relationships is profitable. Obviously you should drill down to sub-niche within those broad niches.

I will tell you my opinion, even though I’m not an expert.

    How to get website traffic.

Everyone cares about traffic online, without exceptions.

If my field was internet marketing I would specialize on traffic generating methods.

I believe that the health market is very difficult because it depends on confidence. Your customer must really trust you to buy the product you are selling to help him/her solve a health problem. Unless you will find products that really make your customers happy, and are really safe. You must care about safety when you deal with health problems.

Another good niche is whatever is related to cell phones, iphads, laptops, and their accessories.

You have to be very careful in the health market, luckily I've been nursing for more years than I care to remember so I'm pretty confident in that market. Also had a lot of success with it over the years so its definitely something to get in to.

      Absolutely....

If you can find the 'desperate buyers' within any niche and focus all your marketing on them, they will be the easiest sales you'll ever make

For me it's been the niches that had one of these characteristics:

    * Desperate buyers

    * Specialized niches with mostly high ticket items (no, I'm not going into details).

    * Repetitive buyers (For example, in the weight loss and fitness niches buyers tend to buy multiple products. I have a friend of mine who spends over $800 a month on his nutritional supplements).

Now conversions vary based on many things, such as your USP, your price point, traffic source, etc.

I am 10 years in this niche, and i can tell you that not everything that great over there.
Big players (tube site owners) make a bank, i mean, really huge money being there, but, on the other hand - tube sites killed the busyness.
Many people don't wanna pay for porn anymore, when everything is for free out there.
Unfortunately, sells far far away from what it used to be.

What you said is spot on...whenever I got out of it, it was starting to go downhill...I had a few sites, but I was mainly writing reviews for non-English speaking webmasters. Sometimes I miss it, it's like its own little world...but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

Can't agree more. Tube sites everywhere, ratio drops, sponsors going down one by one. Used to be an easy moneymaker - for some it's still - but the small fishes can't keep up there. Throwing up a blog with 10 posts and submitting it to a couple directories doesnt cut it.

Since panda, some old folks even struggling what to do, here's one post a good old porn webmaster posted the other day: "My current thesis on google's PR is: f**k knows"

And yeah. Porn has it's own little world so when it comes to niches, there is porn and mainstream.

There's always going to be desperate buyers out there.

      That will never change.

It doesn't matter what Google does, or how the economy changes, desperate

Money is where problem is , i mean lurk around where people are asking for help, and soon enough you will start to find some common types of problems, start to solve them, and soon enough, you will have a business, making you money.

Think about it, why would someone want to pay for something for which he has no problem?
