Authorize.net + 1ShoppingCart worth it?

What are your thoughts?

I used to use Authorize.net + 1ShoppingCart a long time ago then sold the website a long time ago.

Now I run membership sites with up sells and recurring billing. Is Authorize.net + 1ShoppingCart my best solution?

I don't want to use Pay Pal anymore.

If you can't afford or don't want to invest in infusion then 1SC and authorize.net is the way to go.

I suggest PowerPay if you don't already have an Auth.net account. They know our business and the chances of having your account blow up during a launch is slim as long as you let them know.

Ya i've been doing a lot of research lately and it really depends what you need...

It really comes down to what you need exactly in terms of affiliate tracking, rating system for subscribers, types of follow ups, there's so many other options I mean like I said it just comes down to what your business needs.

I use premium webcart and authorize, one problem I have with premium webcart is that it doesn't integrate with certain services

PWC works GREAT with Wishlist. It has a plug in. No monthly fees either, and my retention rate went up with their "autoresponder" reminders when cards fail. Quite slick. I'll be leaving them for Office AutoPilot... BUT if you're looking for just a simple cart of a member site that's cheap, go PWC.

  I use 1SC and Authorize.net. Infusionsoft is way too expensive for me right now and I found this solution to be very good.
  
  I spent way too much time trying to piece different systems together to get them to do what I wanted them to do. Ultimately, it was waaay too much headache and the results were never very good. Worse, it was very unprofessional, which is one of my pet peeves. (Professionalism is very important to me.)

  2CO is also a good choice for me. You might want to take a look at that.
  Infusion is also good, but yeah, a tad on the expensive side

DAP has a built-in free shopping cart that allows you to accept payments via Authorize.net. So you can get rid of 1Shoppingcart if you don't wish to pay the recurring fees.

DAP's free cart also allows you to do 1-Click Upsells with your Authorize.net account.

I don't hink you'll find a better integration with Wishlist than what we offer "out of the box".

There is also a really cool add on module that works as a dashboard / feature enhancer between Premium Web Cart and Wishlist.

Plugins Made Simple

But in the end, no matter what you choose will be better than using PayPal as your sole payment option. Using PayPal exclusively is a conversion killer and you'll make more money, with more customers, the second you add a cart and real payment gateway.
