Is it legal to put Verisign logos and place "As Seen on Amazon and Barnes and Noble" logos on your site, as seen here? Getting Your Wife or Girlfriend To Become a Swinger I dont mean to rat this guy out -- but .. I am just wondering, is this fair game? |

I don't think it's fair game... I do believe that in order for people to use such logos, they need to pay for it. Using it illegally or without license will only get them in trouble. It's up to other consumers or some other online watchdogs to hunt people down who are using such signs without the proper license. Nevertheless, I ain't a legal expert so whatever I stated above is probably gibberish. Asher |

You can't use their logos without permission, period. Having said that, the sales page is hilarious. I wonder what the conversions are like for this? Imagine the keywords for a PPC ad campaign? TomG. |

omg, crazy site! you raise a very good question, and one thing I've noticed is an increasing number of sites are now doing this ... i guess the question is whether the IP lawyers will care ... perhaps not so much if the page is directing to their site eventually anyway, but certainly if someone is profiting off their brand and they're not getting a cut, well, watch out! |
