How much of the market in percentage prefers to download and what percentage prefer DVD?

Is there a way to find out this information?

    You could create a quick survey at SurveyMonkey and try to get people to answer, but generally, most people today like download because it is instant and easy. However, DVD could create more perceived value if you market it and design the DVD covers, store, etc. correctly.

      It's also going to have something to do with the niche.

      I would guess that anyone in IM will not mind the download, while something like a fitness series might do better on DVD or even in a private members site.

      But I'm guessing.

    I think that the answer to that question depends on what the product is.

    If it's a 10MB file, then I can't imagine many people wanting it on a CD, but if its 10GB, then maybe people would prefer that.
