Sales Landing Page Bounce Rate is really High

Hey there fellow warriors,

So I am really new to this Internet Marketing stuff. I am just wondering what I need to do to increase sales for a product that I am selling via a sales page. I was hoping that you guys could please give me some pointers. The website is www.rapidwebsitecreationkit[dot]com.

Or can you guys give me an example of a high converting sales page that I can use to mimic my page after. Thanks so much.

The link doesn't work. Sales pages tend to have a very high bounce rate because people will either buy or bounce away. By reading your copy it does look amateurish. There isn't enough to convince me there.

People have to get away from these old school looking landing pages that people have become so immune to.

One tip though, ditch the super thick outline of the letters, you cant read it.

2nd here is some logic, your selling how to make a website. If they don't like your simple website then why are they going to buy your product to build a website. Kind of like these guys with "Make $xxx, xxx figures a month!" and they are asking what a CPA product is on these forums.

Make it unique, you need a video, you need a better logo. Make it look like a real website. Its far to simple, I feel relaxed reading it. I don't feel like I NEED IT!!!

Everyones chasing this selling an internet marketing kit to an internet marketer to sell to other internet marketers so they themselves can afford to buy more internet marketing tools. Its like a self sustaining economy that never ends because one IM sells to anothe rIm who sells to another IM who buys back from the guy that sold to the first IM.

Most people don't agree with ripping off landing pages but go on google and click on all the peoples advertising adwords products like yours by searching for your keywords and save the website as and re-upload to your server.

Listen man. I've been trying to figure out this industry since I was 13 and I'm 23 now. Long story short. I finally just did it and launched a massive website called Girlfriendhire and learned a few valuable things.

        1. There is nothing wrong with taking someone elses idea if you can make it into your own. Its called innovation, others call it stealing, f**k them.
        2. If you wouldn't buy it, if it wasn't yours, then no one else will.
        3. People want something real, even if it is fake, GF Hire was a site full of real girls acting as fake girlfriends.
        4. If you put it out there someone will buy it, the trick in this industry is to keep your cost of letting people know about it lower than your return on tell them.
        5. Did I mention ripping something off and making it your own? Look at it this way, you go to Sams Club or Costco. You walk to the tire department, point made.
Also for traffic for your site make sure its cheap but not BS traffic like I see a ton of these networks sending, if your getting 10,000 views and not a single sale the traffic was crap even if it was cheap.

I recommend using mGid, I'm about to set up a campaign on it for South Africa for a direct link product on dating. Earlier today I set up an bunch of AdWords keyword groups using FollowScout <-- check it out, I didn't do any research other than clicking on my competitions links and finding the cheapest highest volume keywords, hours of time saved.

I'm not guru man but if you need any help shoot me a message, your LP reminds me of my first few projects and I was so bummed out.

Also your membership page is a dead 404 page.

I would highly suggest you focus on building a list instead of sending your traffic directly to a sales page.

You main headline isn't very attention grabbing.

    You're saying... well... boring.

Here's some that might be better "Could this be the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to build your small business website?"

The difference is you're saying what you're doing, I'm saying what you might get...

You list of 'what you might get' - it doesn't really talk about benefits as such.

A step by step list means that you can get your site completed quickly and without issues which means you have more time to concentrate on your business.

Best Practices and Tips and Tricks are too vague to be of any benefit. They're waffle. Give examples of what these might be and how that is useful to your prospect.

I also think that your price could be a little high too, but you will have to test that.
For that money, I'd be expecting something more like wizard software that captures the details, and spits out a site for you.

You have to ask yourself if the value proposition in your sales page would convince you to buy? Be honest with yourself.

I think you can improve this, but I'm unsure of whether your market is there - I have worked with businesses, and most of them would happily pay me to get something up and running, because they don't want to headache. There needs to be a benefit other than saving money, because they have to put their time into this. Some people might go for it, but my feeling is that most won't.

Maybe try by getting a few small businesses on board, and giving the product to them for free, see what they think, and whether they like it and find it useful. Ask them to honestly say how much it is worth to them. You can also use these people to put testimonials into your sales page, as without proof almost nobody will buy a product that is more than probably $10 these days without some proof of some sort. So that might also make a difference.

This is all part of the learning experience that is internet marketing.

it says your site is currently under maintenance but just a few pointers on copywriting. Get in the head of your target customer - who are they? what do they do? where do they hang out online? what blogs do they read? etc. You should be able to answer the questions before they even ask and tell them the solutions to their problems.

also be creative and catchy. "Everything is done for you" is better than "Easily Create a Website"

I'd add some borders to the input boxes. It is hard to see them.
... also the loader should be hidden by default

The sales page should be the main page of the site and the main page or homepage of your site is not actually a sales page because it is lacking in many things. There are some important things that should be there on a sales page. Please look at these important things.
