I want to get more traffic for my site, real people and interested for the content of my site, I tried facebook ads, but seems that traffic is useless, perhaps it is true that 80% of traffic are bots, I tried with SEO, SEM, but not enough.

Where can I get a good traffic?

Try forum marketing, blog commenting, guest posting, etc. Also try experimenting with some forms of paid traffic.

Video marketing is popular these days.

You can create informational videos on YouTube.

    The potential is unlimited.

Good advice re:YouTube Jeffrey ... I agree. Most people don't realize how huge a search engine YT is. Depending on the niche, YT videos tend to rank highly as well.

Also, if FB ads did not perform well have you tried Adwords Dalen? Make sure you get some training before you jump in with both feet.

I would also suggest looking for sites related to your niche, most sell some type of advertising space. You may find it a cheaper alternative than PPC.

As stated in the previous post, try video marketing, specifically Youtube which just passed the 1 billion mark per month for the number of unique views.

You can always find freelancers to create a video promoting your site for you. A cheaper alternative would be to use fiverr or if you have the time, do it yourself.

Have you tried PPC, it can take a while to get it working and setup how you want but once it does it can work wonders.

Media buys is the way i go i tried PPC and the way i had seen a huge increase in conversions ever since i switched to media buys, and i still haven't looked back.

So if you are looking into doing paid traffic, start off with PPC to get your feet wet then dive in with Media buys.

Chasing traffic can be rough, and expensive. You have to do it, but it's good to do other things too like build up a big email list of people that specifically want what you have to offer.

You end up being able to drive waves of traffic at your site or offer, whenever you feel like making some sales, by sending an email.

I have a free set of products that will get you there, just use the link in my signature below - let me know what you think!

Try taking it to offline mode as well, conversations about your site at clubs, friends of friends circle groups, banners at shops which may tell the readers to check your site online for more info etc...Even you can make some radio speeches locally or do some social cause that can bring you in news paper locally or print media, try giving interviews to portals like on entrepreneurship etc.

Rework your site into a email squeeze page then buy solo ads, and build an email list. Thats the most consistent way to get traffic.

Go to The largest Message Boards and Forums on the web!

Pick a few high traffic forums that will work for what you sell. Create accounts and be real and helpful with your post. Use your sig to promote you site(s). The forums are full of people who are smarter than the average Joe, they take the time to read and learn...

    Good Luck!

Well best method is for sure SEO because if you choose right keywords, buyers one be sure that people who are visiting are interesting in your offers. Unfortunately SEO is not so easy to perform and there are others, competitors who want part of this cake.
Using PPC is not so easy as well. It's easy to say go for it, PPC is the fastest way to get traffic and I know it but using PPC you need to have certain knowledge and do lots of split test.
my suggestion is if you start to use PPC make squeeze page, capture leads, make them sign up for your newsletter and than offer them product.
Push the content and not the product and your conversion will increase.

Well obviously there all kinds of ways to get traffic to your site. I would start off with PPC just to see if your niche is responsive to a free offer. If they are, then pursue with a full-fledged marketing plan. If they AREN'T, then pick a different niche, and run the test again. Paid advertising will get you traffic fast, and depending on your methods... free marketing can get you traffic fast too.

How long did you try to do FB ads for? Were they targeted, did you do test ads, and do you have a fan page? How long did you run your ad? I know their ads are a bit tricky to get the right target market to your site and find it easier to convert by leading them to the fan page first.

How long have you been blogging? I suggest to publish articles on hubpages, squidoo, and ezinearticles to get quality back links back to your site. Of course this will be based on the quality of your content as well.

Content, I'm having about 1000 hits a day only for content in one of my sites, I'm not running any campaign for that site

The most important thing is to write for the ppl not for the search engines, also remember to use images and videos if posible.

When you have a good site you don't have to work building links, ppl will do it for you because your info is good, then they'll share it.
