Hi,
In the past I used many different software to automate my websites. Tool likes wp-o-matic or caffeinated content have been very helpful for me.
I was wondering what tools do you use know to build automated sites.
Thank you

You are looking for software to generate content automatic? There are many auto blog software in the past, but you may disappointed with the result.

all depends on what you want to do, back link's or subscribers, for back links automated option is okay, but if you want sales/subscribers you need quality not quantity.

You shouldn't be using software to generate content.

The closest thing to "automated content" that I'm aware of is user generated content. This is where your subscribers submit content to your site.

This might be in the way of sharing experiences, personal stories, reviews, and so on.

Forget about using software, use your head.

Use unique content on your site. Automated spun articles are moving out from search engines quickly. When your site gets caught all the efforts and time spent will be in waste. Create a solid presence that will stay with you for lifetime... However, services like the best spinner and softwares like website content wizard were super powerful in creating sites and if you use wordpress along with them it can be completely automated. But still I would go with unique quality content that stays strong for years...

I agree with the others ... use real content first. As for the automated part, I modify RSS feeds to meet my sites needs.

Content is the conversation you (and your business) is having with your potential customers. You don't want to automate this. If you don't have the time to write your own content then hire in a (good) VA to create content for you, but don't leave it to a machine.

If you want good position in the SERPs then you do not want to use auto content.

    But....

If you do not care about SEO or getting traffic from the SERPs then you can use something like WP Robot (I have seen it sold on Fiverr, if you want to get it for only 5 bucks).

I use WP Robot on some of my blogs (mostly on sub-domains and not the main domain) and then use Dlvr.it and FriendFeed among other things to auto-deliver the auto-content to my Facebook pages, Twitter followers, StumbleUpon followers, even MySpace friends, etc.

Since I have large amounts of friends/followers on those social networks it is automated traffic which does not depend on SEO or position in the SERPs
