Dear WF Admins,

I see that you all are now charging to Post WSO's, huh? ...

But I couldn't find anywhere in the "sticky topics" what the Cost is to Post a new WSO?

Also, is it permissible to offer a WSO for a Service?

E.g. a Special Warrior discount for posting Job Ads in our syndicated Jobs Board?

Please let us know, ok?

Thank you for your help and Have a Great Day!

- Michael

    The cost is $20...

As far as what you can post, it can be anything that is your creation or a service that you have to offer.

    Michael,

The WSO section became a paid to post section a year or so ago.

You might think about adding something to the community brfore you try running a WSO.

Your post count is "2" which shows you haven't posted much, or added to this community.

Thank you for your prompt and helpful responses to my WSO questions, Jeremy!

I would recommend that the Cost of Posting a WSO be added in the "sticky topics" of that Forum, you know?

Mary - you are looking a my Blog Post Count, my Post Count > 300 and I have been an Active Participant here in the WF since at least 2004 (and maybe / a thought it was longer )!

Thank you again for your prompt and helpful responses to my WSO questions, Jeremy, and Have a Great Day!

        Michale,

You know, you are right. My apologies.

But, you can't be that active if you have no knowledge that the WSO was a paid posting.

It's been announced several times in the main discussion area as wel as in the stickies.

We have run other WSO's a while ago, before WF ever started charging for them.

Although I would Love to! ...

I am often too busy operating, growing and expanding our businesses!

... to keep up with everything going on here in the WF as well as in the other Forums in which I participate, all the time, but I do try to "stop by" and contribute / more actively participate here whenever I am able, you know?

Thank you all for your participation and Have a Great Saturday!

            James,

Yes, it would again be good if the Cost were shown "Up Front" and Obvious!

I did also Search the FAQs with nothing found for WSO, so ... ???

Thank you all again for your responses and participation and Have a Great rest of your Saturday!

              Hmmm ...

It appears that WF has also starting charging for "legitimately Bumping" one's WSO too, huh?

However, again I could not find anything stating or regarding these additional charges for requesting that the Admins Bump one's WSO thread back to the first page

And do Replies still automatically "Bump" a WSO thread back to the top / first page?

Am I missing something? or

I would also LOVE some help / recommendations for improving our WSO, which is Not performing as we had Hoped right now , but ...

Is it permissible to Post our WSO herein and request help / recommendations for improving our WSO?
or would that be viewed as inappropriate?
Which we would not want such request for help to be perceived as an inappropriate Post in any way, you know?, so ...

Any and All of your assistance in these regards would be Most Appreciated!

Thank you for your Help and Participation and Have a Great Day!

What do you mean, "starting?" It's been that way pretty much forever. Of course, they couldn't figure out how to charge for "illegitimate" bumps.

And do Replies still automatically "Bump" a WSO thread back to the top / first page?
What do you mean, "still" bump to the top? Replies do NOT bump a WSO thread to the top, if they actually ever did.

Is it permissible to Post our WSO herein and request help / recommendations for improving our WSO?
or would that be viewed as inappropriate?
You just asked this same question a day or two ago, and were advised that it would NOT be permissible. Why ask again?

                  Hey Mike,

It used to be when someone commented on a specific WSO, it would get bumped to the top. But that's been ages ago ... may be 3 yrs+.

Btw, where have you been? I don't hardly see you much on the boards these days?

                  Michael,

Is it permissible to Post our WSO herein and request help / recommendations for improving our WSO? or would that be viewed as inappropriate?
No, it is no longer permissible as Mike pointed out.

If you do something like that now in the main discussion forum, it is considered spamming or self promotion.

And it's not tolorated at all if you get my drift.

Thank you for your prompt responses, Mike and Mary,

Yes, it has been quite a while since we last posted a WSO ...

And Obviously, Much has changed herein regarding how WSO's and that Forum works, since the last time we posted one, all of which I am slowly learning again.

Ok, if we can't ask for reviews of / advice RE: our WSO's in this / the Main Forum ...

Is there another Forum?, or somewhere else, herein, where such a request for reviews of / advice RE: our WSO's is permissible?

as we are currently Very Disappointed with the performance of our recent WSO thus far!

Thank you again for your prompt responses and your help and Have a Great Day!

It was suggested in a thread the other day that you wait for your WSO to end, then ask for reviews about its performance. I'm not sure what happened to that thread, but it addressed some of your questions regarding asking for feedback while a WSO was still running.

The cost is actually posted on the rules, but also if you click on the post thread it gives you the cost. Since you been a member since 2004 I could see why you would not read the rules ..lol

A sticky would be a good idea though, good thinking.. and maybe some helpful tips and rules on that sticky also would be good.
